"Fufu! It appears that your plan was over before it even started, Takkun"

Yamada only got common characters in all of his pulls in the gacha game during the event that had ended some time ago

"I need your help to get enough tickets to buy her as soon as possible before someone else gets it"

"... *Sigh* Fine, I'll help you with that"

"Great! Now let's start grinding!"

The two then went on to play as many arcade games as they could, especially the ones that had the chance of giving them the biggest amount of tickets in one go... ... ... Their luck was just like their love life... Absolutely garbage

Some time later

"Dangit!!!"

Yamada was on his fours, as he cried from his horrible gacha luck, so far they managed to only make about half of the needed tickets, mostly thanks to Daichi after he pulled himself and Yamada away from the machines based on luck. But they still needed to get more tickets, and quickly

"So what do we play now, the arcade machine that gave us the most tickets were the shooter one, but the difficulty is so high..."

"No, there's another arcade machine that gives a lot of tickets with a pretty decent difficulty"

"Then let's go play on that one"

"Yeah, let's go!"

The two made their way to the arcade machine in question, with Yamada leading the way, as he went to where the machine was located, he eventually found himself seeing the last thing he wanted to see together with Daichi as he was about to turn a corner...

And worst of all, she was with a boy that Yamada was pretty sure he saw somewhere before

"Nothing, the arcade machine appears to be occupied, so let's go play something else as we wait for them to leave"

Yamada tried to take Daichi away from there, since he knew if Daichi found out that Yuriko was at the arcade with a boy, Daichi would become useless and unreliable to get any tickets for him. Daichi who was familiar with that voice quickly got away from Yamada's push and went to where the owner of the voice was at

Then just as he turned from the corner Daichi saw... Yuriko kissing Takeru on the lips

Daichi fell to his knees as he felt like his should was leaving his body from the amount of shock he received from seeing Yuriko kissing another boy. Then Yuriko parted her kiss from Takeru and hugged him, pressing his face against her chest

Then Daichi saw Yuriko turn her head towards him, and the happy smiling face that she had when she was looking at Takeru disappeared and was changed by a face filled with disgust and hatred, then he clearly saw her sigh in annoyance, before she stopped hugging Takeru and walked somewhere else while holding hands with him, and with a gentle smile back to her face as she looked at Takeru

"..."

Daichi was now pale and looked lifeless

"Oi, dude! Don't leave me now! I still need you to get me half of the remaining tickets!"

Yamada began shaking Daichi to bring him back to his senses, as he also grabbed Daichi's fleeing soul and tried to put it back in. But none of that worked, and now Daichi was out of the game

"Fucc! Alright! Time to give my all, and get those remaining tickets by myself!"

Yamada then abandoned the shocked Daichi there, and rushed to the arcade machine of aerial combat, and began playing it. Then as Yamada was playing the game, Daichi came back to his senses

"*Gasp* Huh!? Wha? ! That's right, I need to talk with Yuriko!"

Forgetting why he was even here, Daichi went on to search for Yuriko to ask her what was that he had just seen and ask her to forgive him
