Eragon was originally created in the School of the Griffin right before it was destroyed by jealous mages. During the Trial of the Grasses, Eragon was subjected to more, new additional experiments that was called Phoenix. Geralt of Rivia found Eragon trying to survive as an eight year old boy with snow white hair like his own, and yellow cat eyes. Geralt decided to accept Eragon as his apprentice and teach him in the way of the Wolf.
Eragon traveled alongside his master in search of his adopted younger sister Cirilla. Along the way of their journey, Geralt taught Eragon everything that he knew, the most important one that he taught his apprentice was that every choice has a consequence. The best way to know the outcome of a choice, one must know how to think logically, even under dangerous situations.
