A small land beside Wakanda is where the Lunar Guardian stayed to protect her people and led them during the night.

She would roam the Earth among the humans and guide them with knowledge of the Moon. Kamaria Abara was kind to the people and in return they worshipped her as a God. When danger lied in front of them, she stood beside them, wreaking havoc on others who harmed her land.

In battle, her attention fell on a human. His movements, the brave look on his face, just to protect their territory. He fought beside her, bringing down enemies that came her way. She could not push her feelings away from the man that captured her gaze.

She fell in love, forbidden love.

The more she tried pushing the feelings away, the more she thought about him. She wanted to be with him, her emotions going haywire when her brain reminded her that heart jumped beats for this man. She felt love for him and wanted him more than anything.

❛Stop.❜

❛Love is unnecessary.❜

❛I cannot afford to lose to love.❜

She couldn't, but she wanted to. She couldn't, but she wanted to. She couldn't, but she-

It took one kiss.

One kiss to risk everything the Celestial Beyonds gave her. Deities that formed this one rule of being in love. A rule that she believed was ridiculous. It was a rule above all else. Even if she were to destroy the land and the people that worshipped her, she wouldn't have been punished and instead given a second chance. Celestial Beyonds hated love, abolished anyone from their group who fell into that trap.

And for that reason, the Celestial Beyonds wanted to punish her. However, something stopped them from doing so.

She was carrying a child.

She explained to her lover that the Celestial Beyonds would come for her once her child was born.

❝I will stop them.❞

❝ That is not possible, my moon. They could break you into pieces before you could lay a hand on them.❞

❝Kamaria, please-❞

❝Our daughter will need someone to look after her. You do not need to die too.❞

Her lover went behind her back, explaining to the people of the tribes about the Celestial Beyonds, and with all of them agreeing with his plan. They planned an ambush. They would risk everything to protect their Guardian.

They waited for the birth of Kamaria's daughter, Lulana, and soon the Celestial Beyonds made their appearance. They slowly glided above the ground to the tribes that awaited their arrival with their weapons.

❝Where is your protector?❞

❝You will never place a finger on Kamaria!❞

The Celestial Beyonds suffered the wrath of the tribes that bonded together during this time.

However, they made a mistake. Kamaria was vulnerable during her resting period. She was easy to kill and, therefore, could not protect herself or her people from getting injured.

With the rest of the village occupied with the Deities, there was one who drifted off to where the Lunar Guardian had rested.

❝Love, something that is distasteful and forbidden, Kamaria. Yet, you were naïve to this rule and chose the wrong route.❞

They appeared in the room, startling Lulana. They drifted to her, resting a hand over her face, soothing her cries as she drifted back to sleep, but the hand remained there.

❝Please. . .please do not hurt my child. I made the mistake, so take me instead.❞

She murmured, tears dancing down her face. She closed her eyes once they turned around to face her.

❝Is that what you wish for?❞

And with one nod, the Celestial Beyond made their way to her and with one swift movement as they shoved their hand into her chest, ripping out the organ that was keeping her alive.

The Celestial Beyond teleported out of the room, appearing in front of the war going on outside.

❝Your God is now dead.❞

Lulana only grew up with her father and occasionally had members from each tribe who fought beside her and continued to pass down stories of Kamaria to the young generations to come.

They would soon crown Lulana as Queen and they would name the land after her mother. She helped lead her people alongside members who wanted to fight by her side. Even though she did not have full power like her mother did, she would work hard to gain her people's trust and prepare the younger generations for the future.

When she was reaching her passing, she created a ritual to pass down the full power of Kamaria to one of her children, who had the blood of Kamaria. The ceremony would take a full week if the child was successful. The ritual would continue to be used when the current Lunar Guardian would be put to rest.

The citizens of Kamaria grew to love each Lunar Guardian and share the stories of each one. They would never forget how much they suffered prior to the Lunar Guardian making her appearance.

However, over the years of passing down this ritual, there have been very few successors. Ones who do not wake up after a couple of days as they stay asleep for eternity and are put to rest.

Present Kamaria has been without a Lunar Guardian to guide them for a while. Each young adult who was royalty and about to take the throne was put to rest when they did not wake up after a week. Every Lunar Guardian candidate must have a good heart to be approved of being the next successor. If the candidate does not feel up to being the next protector, they can back down.

Without a Lunar Guardian currently, Constellations and the Night Watchers can protect their people to a certain extent.

But when the next Lunar Guardian rises, they'll be unstoppable.

| rain is typing. . .

good afternoon! I hope everyone is having a wonderful thanksgiving! here is the prologue, just a back story of the Lunar Guardian and how the land of Kamaria came to be. Kamaria translates into like the moon.

I was orginally going to post this yesterday but I was going back and forth between the names for Lunar Guardian. I literally was sitting, staring at my screen for almost an hour because I felt iffy about the ones before I chose Lunar Guardian.
