"Heard you guys had a fun day."
Hirose rolled her eyes, "Will someone please point me to a bed?!"
"We're on sublevel 1. Dormitories are on sublevel 3." Endo answered. "They're not entirely furnished, but they do have beds."
"I've already taken the task of explaining the dorms here on campus to your respective family and guardians as I did with tonight's mission. They don't know the full extent of your extracurriculars, for obvious reasons, but you don't need to worry about explaining anything to them."
"Thank god," Hirose said, already making for the elevator. "We can do the tour in the morning!"
"Ah come on!" Kaito called out to her, "You're gonna make us wait till morning?! That's like making your children wait to open Christmas gifts until the day after!"
"I don't mind giving a tour to those who want one tonight," Endo said, saving Kaito's excitement from burning away. "I've already memorized the layout of all 12 sublevels. Anyone who's too tired can get a tour tomorrow."
"Yes!" Many of the class pumped their fists, whilst Hirose, Waka, Will, Rhea, and Yuuki made for sublevel 3 to get some sleep.
"Before everyone splits up," Edgeshot said, grabbing everyone's attention, "Just know that you all have the next few days of school off to rest and recover. Your next mission isn't for another week or so and since you're no longer a general studies class you can be allowed certain privileges." He and Recovery Girl went to take their leave, using a different elevator than the other students. "Good work tonight. It was a little messy, but taking on a Nomu is no small feat, especially for your first mission."
"See?!" Daidoji cried. "We are better than A and B, we just needed a chance!"
Edgeshot grimaced. "Don't get too confident please."
Sen smacked Dai on the shoulder, barely moving the girl as Edgeshot's and the tired students' elevators disappeared.
"So um... I'm gonna ask the obvious question," Kalen began. "How in the world did this get built in secret? With 12 sublevels you'd need hundreds of workers putting in hundreds of hours."
"Or just Cementoss and Powerloader working around the clock since we got appointed to the Enigma Course," Endo responded. "This place is probably the most secure facility on the planet. Few people know about it and even fewer could reach it all the way down here."
"More people are aware of the US's secret bunker for the president than this place," Shizuku added.
"Okay okay! Cool stuff, but can we get to the tour?!" Dai shouted.
"It's a good thing this place is so far underground," Kazumi pointedly said at Dai. "Otherwise the whole world would be able to track us down from your voice alone."
