"--As you may know, yesterday I was called down to the office in order to talk with Principal Nezu. Whilst there, he brought up something that he would like for all the Yueei teachers to assign."
Almost immediately, the entire class groans in displeasure. Mina Ashido slams her head onto her desk whilst Kaminari quietly mourns alongside her. Next to them, Jirou begins to make an excuse so she wouldn't be forced to do whatever their sadistic principal wanted them to do. Finally, next to Jirou was Bakugo who looked half confused, half interested and a quarter annoyed.
125% mixed emotions.
"Now, I know you really don't want to do this but underground heroes only make so much and I don't want to lose my job. During your Summer Break, you will be assigned a..." He pauses for extra effect "...Pen-Pal. Not that annoying is it?" Aizawa watches his class begin to whisper to each other their theories but he quickly stops them after hearing Tokoyami theorize that this could be a way for the school to spy on them.
"Any questions?" And half the class raises their hand whilst the rest seem to either be uninterested or still-mourning.
"My family is planning to go on vacation throughout all of Europe, if I'm constantly moving around how will me and my Pen-Pal send letters to each other?" Yaoyorozu asks.
"It'll be completely online."
"But what if my Pen-Pal doesn't speak Japanese? I don't know any other language Aizawa-Sensei! Please don't make me do this. PLEASE!" Kaminari cries, rubbing the tears from his eyes while Mina quietly comforts him.
"Don't be stupid. You're Pen-Pals will all be from the General Studies, Support or Management Department. We can't have you talking to random people from a whole different country, not when you're lives are already so at stake."
"If that's all, one by one come on up and take a card from this box" Presenting a cardboard box with a whole on top, Aizawa watches as his entire class goes up and grabs a card before seating themselves.
"That was really all I had to say, you can all head back to your dorms. Don't do anything stupid--" He says before directly staring at his most troublesome stupid. "--Midoriya" he adds on for safety measure.
