"Look this doesn't explain why Jesse was here" I said changing the subject

"Im getting there, I had a debrief with Leo and I just had to ask him why they were fighting all the time. He told me about jesse showing the cast the image"

"And?"

"I called a meeting to straighten things out, and he admitted to it. It's unprofessional, I don't stand for this type of behaviour in my workplace which is why I decided to cut some of his scenes out of the film" I looked at him with shock that'd he make such a drastic decision

"It's a bit much dont you think dad?"

"I'd be cutting him out completely if it was up to me?!" Leo snapped

"Why though he's been on set for months just like us, it would've been for nothing" curse me for being so forgivable

"Kenna for all we know he could have been the one to leak the photos to the pap?" He said calming his voice. I just nodded. There is a chance he was the one but I thought Leo deleted the pics before it even came to that. It went silent for a bit

"On lighter news McKenna, do you remember James?"

"James?"

"Cameron"

"Oh yeah he's making that ship movie right?" I got up to grab a glass of water.

"Correct, it's called the titanic. He met up with me to see how our film was coming along. He asked to see some of the unedited scenes that we have captured"

"Right"

"He's very impressed with you're work...he would like to offer you the leading role of rose Dewitt bukater"  I paused at his words.

"You'll be pleased to know that Leonardo will be playing your love interest" i walked back into the main room. Leo perked up and smiled at me.

"Yes actually Leo asked me to audition"

"Great I'll let James know now, but you'll have to go straight into it when we get home"

"NO" I shouted. I didn't tell anyone but I sent off my SIGNED contract to Neale. Leo doesn't even know that I accepted the offer. What made it harder is they needed me to go to New York for 6 months to work on my music and to get me started in the industry. I was set to leave next week.

"Do you not want the role? This is a great opportunity McKenna" he said proudly. I looked at Leo who was sending me questionable looks. I didn't want to have to tell them of the plans like this

"Ikindofsignedacontract" I said quickly

"You did it?!" Leo jumped up and pulled me into a big hug.

"Im so proud of you" he whispered

"What did you say McKenna? You're gonna have to talk slower" Leo stepped aside now standing next to me. I grabbed his hands for support and he gave it a tight squeeze. I swallowed

"I kind of you know signed a contract..."

"You what?!" My dad said in shock

"I signed a contract" I said with more confidence

"And you didn't even consult with me first?"

"Well you're not my manager? I shouldn't have to ask permission" Leo now stepping back knowing I was now on a role with standing my ground

"Your 21 Kenna I don't need to give you permission. But it would have been nice for you to let me go through the contract with you before you signed away at it. What film is this for?" Leo let out a small cough

"I'm....I'm going to go for a quick walk...I'll be back" no why is he leaving. I grabbed his hand before he could leave. My dad shooting his eyes to the gesture probably not used to us being like this

"It's not a film..." my dad nodded his head waiting for me to continue

"Well it's kinda an offer from a music agency"

"Music? Did I hear that correctly?"

"Well yeah....it is they heard me sing and they believe I have a lot of potential"

"You sing" my dad said in shock, you could see his head deep in thought as he pieced the information together. I shrugged

"I guess so, I mean it's got to mean something if they signed me up so quick" crazy how my own father didn't even care enough to know these things about me

"Baz- sir I'm telling you her voice is incredible" Leo said then sending me a softened expression. I melted at him defending me

"So you knew about this?"

"Yes you could say that" Leo nodded

"He actually encouraged me to pursue it" I say. He just slowly nodded thoughtfully as he scanned the room till he met my presence

"I guess having a back up option is a good idea"

"No dad this is what I want to do. Acting will be my side job I'm not completely giving up on it"

"Are you sure that's what you want to do?"

"I'm positive" I said as I sat on the couch next to him. He let out a huge shaky sigh

"You know your mother was a good singer, I always tried pushing her into pursuing it but she never listened" he said looking at me

"I know" I smiled. It went silent again when Leo decided to sit on the arm of the couch

"I should probably tell you this too... and Leo you might want to listen in" I spoke up

"I kind of have to be in New York for 6 months to produce the music and everything"

"Ok and when is this?" My dad questioned

"Next week?"

"So soon?" Leo questioned as he stared into my eyes

"Yeah but you're going straight into filming it's not like we'd have time to see each other" Leo nodded defeatingly

"Well I better head off, I've got a couple more things to sort out....please can you two remember to make an appearance at the movie premiere coming up in November? I can't have Romeo and Juliet not present" Leo and I nodded as my dad walked out of the room. Leo immediately took his place

"So you're really doing this huh" he smiled as he poked my sides

"Yeah I put a lot of thought into it and decided I'd do it, who knows if I'd get that opportunity again"

"With your voice you'd have music producers wanting you left right and centre" I smiled and shrugged

"So what music are you going to produce?"

"Rnb, pop? Definitely not country" I giggled

"Damn that's a bummer" I playfully nudged Leo as he laughed

"So does this pop star want to go out for dinner tonight? Got to get in quick before she gets to big and famous for me"

"What? Like a date?" I widened my eyes

"It's whatever you want it to be" he smirked

"Ok....only because it's our last night in this paradise"
