Gameverse Pairings

This page primarily focuses on the games, where everything in the anime pretty much happens at the same exact time. (At least, to my POV) So, expect crossovers with other games. I've included some of SecondRound's characters, but obviously, it's SecondRound's decision on what to do with them. So, I'll just have to rely on wishful thinking.

Honoka Kousaka x Hokuto Hidaka
Reason: I've seen a lot of people pair these two. Not sure why, but I guess opposites attract. Honoka is hyperactive, but Hokuto is levelheaded, yet both are outgoing.

Kotori Minami x Kuro Kiryu
Reason: Aside from being good at making outfits (Shoutout to Alina_Lycann1 for the info), I'm not sure why else these two are paired together, but I guess it's because of Kuro being such a softy despite his intimidating exterior.

Umi Sonoda x Mao Isara
Reason: Honestly, the original reason as to why I picked Mao for Umi is because I just wanted all 4 members of Trickstar to have a girl, but later, I figured that Mao is qualified enough to help Umi with her "anxiety" over romantic stuff.

Hanayo Koizumi x Makoto Yuuki
Reason: It's no wonder these two are paired. Both wear glasses; both are super kind; both are introverted at times; both have the tendency to snap at others when their limits are reached; I can go on if you like.

Rin Hoshizora x Hasukashiro "Hasuka" Minami (OC by Katsuki_Ch)
Reason: I didn't think any of the Ensemble Stars boys were going to be any good for Rin. So, I picked a Love Live OC instead. And who else could be a better choice for a girl with a boyish appearance than a boy with a girlish appearance?

Maki Nishikino x Tsukasa Suou
Reason: Both are rich kids; both are around the same age; both are... redheads. The difference is obvious: One is introverted, the other is outgoing.

Nico Yazawa x Nazuna Nito
Reason: People seem to like putting these two together. One is a raging maniac, while the other has a kindhearted behavior that could easily calm the former down to a point where they become gentle with the latter.

Nozomi Tojo x Mika Kagehira
Reason: I read this fanfic about a cute story between them. I just couldn't leave them out of the picture.

Eli Ayase x Eichi Tenshouin
Reason: Both are student council presidents; both have formal dancing experience; both are... blonde. And there was a fanfic as to what inspired Eli to join μ's.

Reason: These two hardly know how to chill.

Yō Watanabe x Midori Takamine
Reason: They can't seem to maintain their composure.

Riko Sakurauchi x Ritsu Sakuma
Reason: They tend to isolate themselves, but they're pretty good at playing the piano

Hanamaru Kunikida and Shinobu Sengoku
Reason: They make look it, but they are not a pair of weak little babies.

Ruby Kurosawa x Hajime Shino
Reason: They're timid crybabies, but they're also polite, caring, and most importantly, hardworking.

Yoshiko Tsushima x Natsume Sakasaki
Reason: They're both the chunibyo kids of their franchises. Yoshiko claims to be a fallen angel, while Natsume draws satanic circles in the ground. [See Episode 2]

Dia Kurosawa x Shu Itsuki
Reason: Strict perfection and extreme criticism run in their veins, but both are also elegant in their own right.

Mari Ohara x Wataru Hibiki
Reason: Both tend to be over dramatic.

Kanan Matsuura x Adonis Otogari
The personifications of beauty. Kanan's athletic and Adonis' namesake is a figure from Greek Mythology.

Reason: A true family always sticks together, and these two always stick by their cousins. They're also seen together in some of SecondRound's chapters.

Goro Komatsuki (OC by me) x Kasumi Nakasu
Reason: Both are straight-up troublemakers in their own rights. Kasumi's just more devious than Goro.

Jeremy Torres (Me) x Emma Verde
Reason: Probably best to not ask, but for those who are insistent: I had a great-granddad who was from Switzerland, and Emma's a Switzerland native herself.

Sabu Okamoto (OC by me) x Ai Miyashita
Reason: I made Sabu to be another childhood friend of Ai, one that she hardly talks about due to an incident involving the two.

Tamaki Saito (OC by SecondRound) x Rina Tennoji
Reason: These two have a passion for gaming, though one is more introverted than the other. But when they're together, they're comfortable together.

Kaoru Hakaze x Karin Asaka
Reason: Flirtatious, seductive, mature, yet childish, these two are made for each other.

Madara Mikejima x Setsuna Yuki
Reason: It's hard to not view these two as the superheroes of their franchises. I can't tell if they're Supergirl and Inspector "Tequila" Yuen, or Spider-Gwen and Shotaro Hidari.

Hiyori Tomoe x Shizuku Osaka
Reason: I couldn't think of good reason other than the fact that their English dub VAs are married.

Rei Sakuma x Kanata Konoe
Reason: One's dark, the other's light, both are usually calm and collected, but when the time is right, they show how active they can be.

Kanon Shibuya x Sora Harukawa
Reason: They're not exactly the best at communicating, but they're both extremely emotional, charismatic, and passionate.

Keke Tang x Tomoya Mashiro
Reason: Bright, chipper, and determined is how you should describe these two.

Chisato Arashi x Mitsuru Tenma
Reason: Chisato's got an... unhealthy obsession with circles, and Mitsuru is impulsive at times, but both are kind, sweet, loyal, supportive, cheerful, and boisterous.

Sumire Heanna x Koga Oogami
Reason: Sumire's overreactive, Koga's wild-hearted, both are pretty confident.

Ren Hazuki x Izumi Sena
Reason: They're both critical at times, and they both have... odd personalities, but they also have ballet backgrounds. (A/N: And before you ask, yes. I know Eli has a ballet background too.)

There is one more pairing in the μ's list, Anzu x Subaru Akehoshi, but since both characters are from Ensemble Stars, I've decided to leave them out.

* - I was going to type "Asakura", which is what I remembered seeing at one point, but I've decided to use what SecondRound picked for him. Also, I originally wanted to pair him with Kasumi, but I've seen him with Yū more.
