Zayn's My Hero.(First Story)

Chapter 1

Carolina's POV

Cleaning my room I hear my mom and her worthless husband having their usual fights... If you consider beating helplessly the woman you so called 'love', a fight. I plug my headphones in hastily, cranking the volume up to its maximum capacity; not capable of hearing my mother's tears any longer. You would think I would be used to her sobs by now since they're on replay 24/7 (like those long annoying ads you want to skip on YouTube but it doesn't give you the option to), But I'm not. Her cries are like sirens muffling any other sound that I can possibly cause, and to make matters worse, my iPod runs out of battery.

Sighing loudly, I reluctantly start following the calamity which soon enough leads me to the living room. Nearing my destination, loud noises become processed words. "You worthless, good for nothing whore! Who the h*ll told you, you could talk back to me!" Hearing a slap soon after. "You can't keep pushing us around Andrew, I'm done being your slave, I'm done letting you treat my daughters the way you do. I'm leaving and there's nothing you can do!" My mother yells in pain. Is she being serious though? Could we actually leave this inferno for good? All my unrealistic hope deflates once I hear his dark chuckles, making my skin crawl. "You really think you can leave?" I discreetly begin poking my head out the wall I've been leaning on. Only to flinch witnessing my mom being punched.

"So putting you in your place is not cutting it no more... I guess I have to go to much more effective measures... Perhaps Avery is ready to start our family tradition. Hmm?" My blood runs cold. I quickly fix my gaze from Andrew to Avery, finding her near mom and in close proximity to me. "You wouldn't touch her!" Mom cries getting in Andrew's way before being pushed to the ground. "No!" Mom yells as Andrew approaches Avery ready to beat her like he started doing with me when I was four. Seeing the excitement in his eyes I run out in front of Avery before he's able to touch her and got a back handed slap in return. Having his lucky rings on, he had the satisfaction of busting my cheek and lip as soon as his hand made contact. The slap had so much force, it threw me on the floor.

"Always ruining my fun" he growls. "You going to make it up to me" he smirks down to me, scanning me with his slimy gaze.

I stay quiet deciding it's best not to agitate him more. Especially if we want to get out of this ordeal alive with Avery safe. I slowly start backing away from him, seeing Avery hiding where I always taught her to hide if Andrew was in a "bad mood". I didn't get far feeling his rough arms yank me off the floor to his chest.

"Answer me when I speak to you!" Andrew yells while pulling my hair to force me to look at his undressing eyes. "Or I'll take your silence as a green light to have my way with you in front of your mom... you know... to show her what she lacks." He chuckles placing his lips on my neck.

I feel his tongue slowly licking me, while it makes its way to my ear. His hands travel their way down my body until he's groping me. Sighing in pleasure he says, "the only thing your mom has done right, creating the perfect play toy". I'm fighting the urge of being disgusted, trying to give my self time to think of a plan to get all of us out safely.

"Why don't we go somewhere more private and spare mom from this. We can let her and Avery go for tonight" I push myself closer to him, trying to be as believable as possible. His hands slide into my inner thighs and hoists me up around his waist. "So glad you're finally getting it. That you belong to me and nothing else matters.... this is what you should learn from your daughter". He looks over to my mom and squeezes me tightly causing me to gasp.

He starts making his way down to the basement and I mouth to my mom, "Run... I love you". A tear slips out when she looks back at me with tears running down her face saying "I'm sorry". I see her rushing to get Avery as the door to the basement closes.
