CONTINUATION OF JIHOON'S POV

-Kenneth's Coffee Shop-

"Shit ! "  , nabigla ako sa sigaw ni Kenneth . Nagtaka ako habang tinitingnan ko sya nagmamadaling  kumuha ng mga gamit at papeles sa kanyang office .

Lakad dito , lakad doon ako yung nahihilo sa ginagawa niya , " kumalma ka nga muna . Ano ba yung problema mo ?" Tanong ko habang hinawakan ko  yung balikat niya at pinahinto.

" tinawagan ako ni uncle , may problema sa company namin sa Paris "  hindi mapakali niyang sagot

"Okay okay , kumalma ka muna . Everything's gonna be ok ikaw pa ! " sabi ko habang minasahe ko yung balikat niya to calm him down  , " so when's your flight ? " i continued .

"A minute by now ... "

"ANOOO?! "

"Fuck ! , bakit ngayon pa to nangyari . Joyce needs me right she's sick at walang mag aalaga sa kanya and also I have plans with her this week ! "sabi niya while pacing out . Tumahimik muna ako dahil wala na akong masabi , pero maya-maya biglang may naisipan si Kenneth and this made me speechless at kumunot yung no-o ko 

" Bro, i know this may sound crazy but will you please look over Joyce for me while I'm gone in the meantime ? " sabi niya 

" Ano?! okay ka lang ? , hindi ko pa nga yan nakikilala yang joyce mo " sagot ko at napalakas yung boses

"okay fine , i'll introduce you to her now " , agad ako hinila ni Kenneth palabas ng office niya hindi na rin ako pumalag , hinyaan ko nalang sya sa kanyang ginagawa.  Agad kami sumakay sa kotse niya at ng paalis na kami biglang tumunog yung phone niya and it was his uncle calling him again , and this time it sounds like urgent na talaga yung presence niya , kenneth was pissed and he took a sharp breathe .

I could really feel na naguguluhan siya kong anong gagawin niya , kaya hindi ko alam kong anong pumasok sa isip ko at bigla akong nag offer sa kanya na ako na muna bahala ng joyce niya .

"Kenneth ... ako na bahala . Pumunta ka na ng airport ngayon na ako na bahala sa joyce mo sabihin mo lang sa akin anong gagawin ko . " sabi ko . Before he replied he took a deep breathe and slowly exhaled , " alright ... pls tell everything to joyce that i'll be at the Paris for a couple of weeks at babalik agad ako once everyhting is settle there . Here's her address... "  mabilis nyang sabi habang may inabot syang maliit na papel sa akin .

May inabot din siya sa akin isang invitation card about Gali's art gallery exhibit, " take Joyce here, she's a big fan of Gali, and make sure you'll introduce her to Gali . Don't worry ill let Gali know na ikaw yung pupunta in behalf sa akin ", i just keep nodding and nodding sa lahat ng sinabi niya sa akin.

Hanggang sa may pinakita na siyang photo niya with this Joyce  at sabi " This is her by the way, isn't she beautiful? remember her face ".

Dahan-dahan kong kinuha yung photo niya and wtf is this? , hindi ako makapaniwala sa nakita ko . I squint my eyes at nilapit ko yung litrato sa mukha ko para klaruhin and "shit , is this Ade ? " sabi ko sa isip ko

" is there something wrong ? " kenneth asked and wondered .  I simply scoffed At dahil sa hindi ako makapaniwala kong iisang tao lang ba to o baka naman Ade has a twin sister , due to my curiousity i asked him about joyce

" ito si Joyce? "

Kenneth nodded, " ahh yea?,  Bakit do you know her ? " he asked as he furrow his brows

I fake chuckle and replied," Hindi ba sya yung nadulas sa shop mo ? the night I was there? I even gestured to you about her and you denied that wasn't her ". Kenneth chuckle softly at kinuha yung phone niya at may pinakita pa sa akin, mga litrato nila ni Ade " i had to , dahil nakatingin sa amin yung mga staff ko "  he replied . To be honest, I don't know what to feel, i was confused. 

" This is Adelaide Joyce. I love to call her by her second name when I'm talking to other people including you " Kenneth added . and there it turns out Kenneth and I liked the same girl, I smiled at him at Wala na akong masabi.

After Kenneth left , hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala that all this time he was talking about the girl who caught my attention from the first day i laid eyes on her . Napag isipan ko dumistensya nalang ako wala din naman akong magagawa dahil mas nauna naman talaga sila magka kilala ni Kenneth kesa sa akin, " It was nice meeting you Ade " sabi ko sa isip ko . 

Akala ko tanggap ko na but then  i saw her again at  the park at hindi ko alam anong pumasok sa isip ko na hindi ko ginawa o sinabi sa kanya ang tungkol sa pag alis ni Kenneth sa pinas . Alam ko and i saw her looking for him every single day and she seem  so worried about Kenneth's sudden disappearance, sa totoo lang nasasaktan ako sa tuwing nakikita ko siyang malungkot dahil sa pinsan ko  . But still  I stayed quiet and pretend I didn't know him , i know it may sound selfish but it is what it is  i like her and i have never like someone before , i want to take this opportunity to know her more. 

Sa mga araw na magkasama kami ni Ade ,  i am the happiest  she was my peace and comfort , sobrang sarap lang kasi sa pakiramdam na hindi ko na kailangan magpa impress sa kanya o pretend to be someone else .  I cherish every moment I'm with her everything went so well not until the day she finds out about who I really am  . Simula nung iniiwisan na niya ako at hindi na niya ako kinakausap nasabi ko sa sarili ko na this is the end of my selfishness attitude and i deserve this at mas mabuti pa nga siya yung umiwas sa akin para matauhan ako sa pinag gagawa ko . Lahat ng ito hindi alam ni Kenneth , he might still thinks that Ade is aware sa pag alis niya where in fact she isn't , and i know she will be more upset once she knew about my stupidity .

I'm sorry to both of you. Nevertheless, I have no regrets.
