The bell rings above the tall, café door, signaling someone had arrived, it was a long summer afternoon.

The café was packed with college kids And me of course who had to afford to pay for her bills.

My parents had offered to help, but I refused because I didn't want to be their wing any longer.

"Hi welcome to Annie's Café!, How may I help you? We have blueberry scones available and the holiday tree cookies." I smile taking out my notepad.

"May I get a blueberry scone and a coffee, no sugar just black" I hear a familiar voice, I freeze in my spot.

"Vinnie?" I say in shock, tears besting in my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I wanna start over with you y/n" he sighs.

"You're here again." I gasp.

"How have you been?" I asked remembering the last time we had encountered.

"I missed talking to you so fucking much, I miss all the shit we used to do and go, Like our favorite place, Greece," he says Fiddling with his hair.

"Is everything alright?"I say, wondering what's going on.

"I want us to go Greece together." he takes my hand into his, gently squeezing.

"I- wait I gotta comprehend all this"I stutter, nibbling my lip.

" Baby I got an online scholarship ship for you & if you wanna continue school, I've got the best online uni for you" he smiles.

"I want to get to know you better, so let's start over & forget everything from the past please," he speaks up.

"You're done with all the maf-"he cuts me off.

"Yes baby, I'm only there when I'm needed which will be in a few months" he Kisses my cheek.

"I don't know what to say..."I trail off, looking into his eyes.

"Say yes, please just say yes & that we'll start over baby"hope in his eyes.
