As soon as she sat down on the cloth laid at the cold pavement, she finally replied. "I can't. This is the only place where I could see my family watching over me." Letting out the heavy breath she's been holding, she looked up to the stars shining ever so brightly

Levi didn't bother speaking as he let her savor the zephyr with her eyes closed. Yet again, he found himself scanning her perfectly lighted face.

He nearly choked on his tea when Luna suddenly spoke. "Stop staring and spit it out." Luna opened her eyes to look over the man glaring at her.

"Does this little shit have a seventh sense or something?" He cleared his throat before speaking. "Tch. What?"

"The tea recipe. You clearly want it. You keep looking at me every time you drink tea. I might give it to you if you admit mine's better than yours." The woman smiled at him and teasingly wiggled her eyebrows.

"Cute." Although Levi has his usual poker face, deep inside he can't help but smile at her playful mood. He's trying so hard to suppress a smile but a subtle smirk slipped past him.

Luna saw it despite the fast reaction from the captain. "Hang on! Did I just see you smile?! Let me see! Ah!" Due to the excitement and the possible desire to tease Levi, she abruptly moved from her position making her whimper from the sharp pain in her stomach.

Levi snapped his gaze back to Luna who's now holding her stomach and breathing heavily. He could feel an extreme aching in his head so he's sure that she's also hurting badly.

"It's not healed yet?" He asks. Although Luna couldn't see him as her eyes are tightly closed, worry is evident in his voice.

"It's a stab, genius. Not a mosquito bite."

Ignoring her sarcastic response, Levi grabbed Luna's arm before she could stand up to leave. "Sit your ass down. Let me see your wound."

"I'm fine." Trying to stand up again, Levi firmly held her arms but carefully pulled her back to the ground.

"Shut up and show me, brat." Despite her glare, she pulled her blouse up revealing a big bruise on her stomach. The area around her wound is covered with dark blue and the cut is worse than the last time Levi saw it. "What the fuck? Are you even applying your ointment? Why aren't you telling anyone about this?!"

Luna knew she couldn't get away with it anymore so she laid back down on the cloth and grabbed the dagger hidden on Levi's back pocket. It was the same dagger that he used to stab her. She removed the sheath and showed the dagger to him.

Levi who was baffled by her actions sat beside her vigilantly. "Relax, I'm not gonna stab you. Even if I wanted to. But I won't hesitate if I have to." Disregarding the present pain on her stomach, she chuckled at the captain who just rolled his eyes.

"Look." Luna showed the blade of the dagger. At first look, it's just a simple clean blade. She pointed at the spear point and Levi immediately spotted random rust patches.

"Remember when I told you to clean your dagger properly? That's why. The blade was in my stomach long enough to get an infection. That's the reason why I pulled it out of me. I'm not stupid like you thought, I know what happens when you pull an object stabbed on your body. But I had to or else it's gonna get worse than this. The ointments helped with the wound, but since the infection is inside, it's useless." Luna pulled her blouse down to cover her stomach, feeling embarrassed to look weak in front of the corporal. "Alright, you got what you wanted. Now, let me get back to my room. I'm sleepy."

The man felt guilty for what he did to Luna. It vexed him for causing so much pain to her. "No. Stay right there. I'll be right back." Levi swiftly stood up and walked towards the stairs. "Leave and I swear I'll peel your skin with that dagger."
