"Well? Take it. My patience span is the size of an ant." She says snarkily.

I rolled my eyes at her as I took the orange from her hand. The touch of our hands lit a spark inside of me. Clearing my throat to hide it, I peeled the orange neatly, removing all the pith clean and seed before popping it to my mouth.

I glanced back at Luna who's slicing a nicely skinned apple, she then gave a generous slice to her horse and mine before patting their heads.

"So gorgeous." The word slipped through my mouth lovingly. I was about to either clear my throat or make a rather nonsensical excuse when Luna suddenly spoke.

"He is, isn't he. They both are." She replies as she admires the two stallions nickering at her touch.

"I was talking about you." is all I could think of but didn't dare to say out loud. I didn't bother replying as I subconsciously focused on tracing every inch of her face with my eye, from her forehead, down to the perfectly curled thick lashes, then her bewitching eyes, travelling through the bridge of her nose straight to her irresistible lips curled into a sweet smile.

Damn it! What is happening to me? Why am I feeling this? Am I really romantically attracted to her? Or am I just finding excuses to believe that she's her? But every time I look at Luna, I see her, everything about this woman reminds me of her.

Don't do this to yourself, Levi. You'll just end up getting hurt all over again.

~~~Third Person POV~~~
As the woman feels the digging stare of his steel grey eyes, a sudden vision of a family, a little boy and girl together with grown couple, are having dinner by the lake. Although, the vision was rather hazy that's why she couldn't get a hold of their faces.
Noticing that Levi was still looking at her and assuming he saw her eyes glow like before, Luna stood up immediately as the vision fades to avoid getting asked. She could swore that she saw a glimpse of worry mixed with curiosity in the man's face.
Levi, who saw her tense up as her eyes glow, wanted to ask her but didn't bother. For the reason that he doesn't want to force her into telling him why her eyes do that, and he didn't want to show how much he's worried about her whenever that happens.
Following Luna, Levi mounted his horse too. She was ahead of him but he could still see her face since she's looking over by the lake. The two of them took their time riding their horses along the riverbed back to the headquarters. Savoring their own peaceful moments away from all the world's troubles, the sun has now set down as the two reached the headquarters.
Despite the long trip, Luna wasn't really feeling hungry so she decided to go straight to her room and shower before heading to the rooftop. Surprisingly, Levi was already there.
"I can't be by myself for once, can I?" The man holding a cup of tea nattered away.
The chuckling woman rolled her eyes at his obvious mockery as she made her way to sit beside him. "Oh shut up, grumpy man. You were the one who interrupted my alone time despite the fact that no one asked you to be there with me. Certainly not eyebrows since he's fully aware of my agendas for today." Luna states as she struggles to lay down on the floor. The hassle was evident in her speaking and breathing making Levi worry.
"If you're struggling so much then you shouldn't come up here." The man said as he lifts his cup to his mouth, eyeing the lady who's trying to suppress a wince but failed.
