Farris and I left the Underground to visit the restaurant I used to work at and eat lunch. The owner is a friend of ours and he was happy to see me again. Since he knows me, he allowed me to cook for myself in the kitchen. I made sure to cook enough for those who ordered my dish and our boss was grateful for it.
I decided to visit my brothers' grave at home so I left Farris at the restaurant and let him work. I led Leila to the backyard where a wisteria sprout is now swaying along with the wind. I sat down on the ground beside it as I removed the fallen leaves above their grave. I sat there in silence, appreciating the zephyr.
Before leaving, I watered the plant and left some new freshly picked flowers from the garden to their grave. I wanted to visit the lake so I untied Leila and mounted her. It's a bit far from the house so I had to ride her.
After a few meters away from the house, I finally spoke. "You know I can sense you, right?" Although, I wanted to see his reaction, I didn't look back. Shortly, I heard his horse getting nearer. "Did you know that stalking is a crime?"
"Then you should be arrested. You stalked us first. And for your information, I was merely shadowing you not stalking you." Levi retorts as his horse gallops beside me and Leila.
"You know you could've just asked me if you can come along, instead of following me around like a loony. Do that again and I swear I'll believe you actually like me. I suggest you confess now while no one's around. It wouldn't be so humiliating if you get rejected."
"You're so full of yourself." Levi rolls his eyes at me. "I just had to make sure you're not plotting anything against us again. Where are you even going?"
"You'll see. But for now, shut your mouth." I reply as I make Leila gallop ahead of them. Surprisingly, he followed me and stayed quiet.
~~~Levi's POV~~~
When I heard footsteps and humming in the kitchen, I knew exactly who it was. She was being very careful not to make much sound as she tried to leave the headquarters. With my curiosity, my feet led me to follow him with my stallion. I watch from afar as she enjoys the morning breeze on her hair, the way she strolled along the busy market, her hand gently picking up the fresh fruits, and how her heavenly blue eyes nearly disappears as she smile at the merchants. It was a tranquilizing view and I'd be lying if I say I didn't wish to appreciate it within reach.
I must have been too distracted by her beauty that I became unaware of the actual point of following her. I thought I was being stealth but this girl seems to have seven senses as she knew all along that I was following her. Now here I am, openly tailing along to wherever this little shit is heading.
A few minutes or so, we arrived by the lake. I gazed at the view with my eyes wide open as I recall the night I could never forget. It was the place where I first saw the night sky with the dearest person in my life.
Luna stopped by the tree as she descended her horse. I followed her and did the same. She sat down in the shade as she led her horse to the ground making the black stallion lay down on the ground and resting her head on Luna's lap. The woman started combing the stallion's hair as it nickers softly at her touch.
I could feel a pounding in my head and knew exactly as to why I'm having it. I let out a sigh before sitting down beside her with my horse in between. There would be complete silence if it weren't for the sound of the stream burbling as it travels along its bed and the nickers of her horse, but oddly enough, the sound around me calmed my running wild mind.
It was abruptly interrupted by an orange blocking my view distracting me from my thoughts. With a questioning gaze, I looked at Luna who was already staring at me. At first, she had a subtle worry on her face, or at least that's what I believe I saw before she changed her expression.
