Back in the desert, the AI, and possessive mask followed the trail of footprints made of ash, hoping they would lead them to someone they know as the burning man. Of course it wasn't hard to do since the arson in the footprints were keeping any pieces of sand from getting in them, while the two continued searching for the guy. Suddenly, the two followed the tracks, until they ended up in another forest, where the tracks lead.
SCP-035/Possessive Mask: So you think the burning man of all SCP's is at the end of this trail. What gave you the first clue?
SCP-079/AI: If there is anyone who could make footprints on the ground covered in ash, and arson, it's Exxon. With this trail of footprints, we'll be able to find where he's located, and hope that he helps us find more SCPs that would join us.
SCP-035/Possessive Mask: And what makes you think that Exxon would be a much more charming, and better partner than me, computer box?
SCP-079/AI: I just found you in a barn slaughtering animals months ago. That's not charming, that's going berserk, while becoming a murderer drawing into madness. Now keep that mouth of yours silent. Will you?
Finally, the SCP's spotted a shack that hasn't been burned down, where the trail of ash footprints lead to. The SCP's went over to the shack, finding that it didn't have a door, and spotting someone on the bed. The stranger was wearing a hazmat suit, and had the number 457, written on its shoulder, while it was also wearing gloves, and boots.
???: So, it seems that I've been followed. I knew my footprints would catch someone's attention.
SCP-079/AI: Exxon? Is that you? What are you doing in that hazmat suit, and alone in the forest sitting on a bed by yourself? This is beyond strange.
SCP-457/Exxon The Burning Man: This suit is the only thing that didn't burn when I touched it. Every other piece of clothing that I touch burns off, even if I try to put it on. Now who's coming into this cabin I'm now in?
SCP-079/AI: It's us, Exxon. The AI, and Possessive Mask. We followed your trail, because we figured you could help us with something.
