Love in the Shadows

Here we GO! *Warning*

I am officially taking part in my first NANO-WRIMO and thought that I would be fully planned and organized coming into it... but that's apparently not my style.

So let me give you a warning: I have had this story swimming in my head for quite some time but my story itself and its characters currently have more control than I do. I would apologize but... it seems to be how my writing takes place and I kind of love every moment.

My second warning is that this book is rated as MATURE. My task force hunts serial killers. Things will get distinctly murdery.

Third: I like my suspense and thrill with a side of romance so there will be a love story interwoven between the crime. Expect some spice.

Fourth: Lucy is quite possibly my favourite heroine that I've ever created (FYI this is only my third book, so I guess that's not saying much) but she's amazing. Prepare yourself though, her life has been traumatic. Her dad was a serial killer and she not only has had to come to terms with his emotional abuse during her childhood but it made her a target for small minded folk that allowed her dads monstrosity to colour their perspective of her. It's not pleasant but it's part of her story and I plan on telling it.

Fifth: Please don't be afraid to share your feedback. I had planned on being a little ahead, but I'm not because I ride the hot mess express 🚌 on the daily. So instead, I am legit writing this during this month and I don't know what that's going to look like editing wise but can't imagine it's going to be super clean and tidy.
