Even though I can say that survived the ordeal you put me through, I'm still working to put my life back together and get rid of any reminders of you.

And although I'm not sure when this will end, I do know that the brief moment when I hesitated to forbid you from reentering my life is proof that I'm still not entirely free of you.

I detest that even while I would turn down your request for a second chance in a hurry, I would still likely squander a moment daydreaming about what we may have been and claim that I'd have to at least consider it.
