Taehyung opened the refrigerator one more time in hopes that an exquisite dish will appear supernaturally, holding the caliber to satisfy his stomach which was bursting with the third generation of furious rats that were possibly feasting on each other by now.

"When will this man stop living like a broke ass bitch?"

"I heard that." Taehyung shrieked in a high-pitched tone, hand flying to his chest as he spun to see the intruder, causing his back to collide with the refrigerator.

"When the fuck did you come here?" He looked at the man sitting on the stool against the kitchen counter, dressed in his night suit, while his tired eyes stared into Taehyung's soul.

"When you were causing havoc in my kitchen for an infinite time. Oh, and also this property is registered in my name, so technically my house—just saying." he shrugged, earning a glare from taehyung.

"I'm not in the mood for your shit, I'm literally starving to death."

"Because of which you interrupted my sleep?"

"I never asked you to wake up from your grave and sit around like a zombie."

"Logically, any human would wake up 'cuz of the shelf-banging you were doing here."

"Ugh, I was searching for food! You don't even have ramen, are you kidding me?"

"Should've had it on your way then."

"Do you think I'd be here acting like a freak if I thought of that?" He aggressively ran a hand through his still damp hair from showering.

"Order it."

"There's a strike nearby."

"You can't tell me there's nothing to eat here."

Taehyung gave him a broad welcoming smile before gesturing him to explore the useless kitchen he was dying to set on fire.

Long story short, Yoongi ended up cooking a never-known-before-meal for taehyung with whatever edible existed in the kitchen, while taehyung impatiently waited on the dining table, almost contemplating chewing down the tissues. Thankfully, the meal was served before the tissues could go through brutal teeth oppression.

"God bless you, hyung," he rushed before digging right in and sighing right after.

"Yeah, God bless me." he rolled his eyes before sitting beside taehyung with his own bowl of....well....meal. "Ah, I added extra salt, how are you even eating that?"

"I really don't care," he said, causing Yoongi to give him a weird look. "Also, Hyung, I think you are right about telling Jungkook about....everything." He spoke after a little while.

"I know. Did something happen?"

"Not really. But it's the little things that keep happening now and then, and it's just so baseless and frustrating to lie to him. I can't keep doing that."

"Mhm. It's not something you can hide from him forever. the earlier the better."

"I'll tell him whenever I get the chance."

"You must. Also, Namjoon is blowing up my phone."

"Oh shit!"

Jungkook glared at his laptop screen.

His thoughts, the ticking clock on the wall, and the sound of horns outside were all urging him to just do it. Yes, maybe he should. As his fingers neared the keyboard, he stopped. No, he can't. It won't be morally correct to check his boyfriend's details without his permission. Yes, he can't, he won't. But, just as his fingers decided to pull themselves away, his mind produced a new thought — As a responsible boss to the company, he surely should.
