"Kayden called me. Where the fuck where you last night?"

"Whoa Lisa, chill out. I had work to attend to" I replied shutting my locker.

"In the middle of the night?. I called you multiple times but you decided not to pick your calls"

I sighed. "Don't yell at me Lisa, please. I'm stressed as hell right now. I'll explain later, I promise"

But Lisa wasn't getting any of that. "That's not happening. I need you to start explaining now. Do you know how scared and worried we all were?"

"We?"

"Kayden, Cole, Louis and I"

I palmed my forehead. "I'm fine, okay?. No need to worry about me".

"I'll always be worried about you. Now, where were you at 12 midnight"

I sighed again. "I got a job at MnM. It's a new restaurant down town open twenty four hours. I just didn't want Kayden to find out my night movement".

"I don't believe you"

"I believe her"

You'd be the cause of my death Kayden.

"You should really stop sneaking up on people" Lisa said.

"Sorry" he apologized.

"And, I'm guessing you followed me."

"I was worried. I didn't think you'd be safe on your own".

"Here I am Haynes. Safe and sound. You can put back your cape, Terry Mcginnis". Note the sarcasm.

"I'm happy you are"

"It's so absurd that you followed me" I muttered.

"I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything wrong"

"No you didn't, you snitch". I snapped.

"Is that yelling I hear?" Vandi said walking towards us with her cheer leading team. They called themselves 'The sparklers'.

"What do you want, Vandi?"

She looked at her squad. "Sparklers, you're out. Inner circle stay". The authority in her words was super outstanding.
The sparklers excused themselves which left Vandi, Alex and Rihanna.

"I do love chaos in the morning" she replied my previous question. "I want to steal Kayden for the day, do you mind?"

"Knock yourself out".

"I'm suprised you came to school, Kenzy. My Dad said to thank you for being such a hard worker at his store. He was watching you from the cameras"

"Your Dad owns MnM?"

"Ohhhh Kenzy, my Dad basically owns almost everything in this city. He's the Hiram Lodge of our city except no shady businesses"

"Wait, so Kenz isn't lying about working at MnM?"

"Isn't she your bestfriend?. You should know when she's telling the truth". She smiled. "I'd take Kayden now. Ciao ladies"
She walked out.

"You are so lucky Kayden and Vandi confirmed your whereabouts"

I rolled my eyes. "You owe me an apology"

"I'm worried about you my love. But I'm sorry"

"You should be sweetheart. And I do not want you to worry because like I told Kayden, I can take care of myself".

Lisa's POV
 
  Being born into a family of one of the richest businessman in the city, I was raised pretty fancy. Lived in a big mansion, got all I wanted. I was the spoilt child without control considering mum and dad weren't always around especially my mum who I barely saw. It was really lonely having to live alone in that big house. I certainly did wish i wasn't the only child.
