chp 2 - in the closet

Before I could respond John grabbed my wrist, dragging me to the living room. I was going to regret coming here, aren't I?

John sat me on the couch, telling me to wait, while he ran to the kitchen. I sighed knowing I couldn't argue with John Cena. Even beyond knowing how he is in general, my role as a cat girl meant I couldn't tell them no. That's just how it was. I had to listen to people assigned as the protagonist. I couldn't go against my job in life no matter how badly I wanted to.

I tried to observe the room, mainly to avoid my depressing thoughts. I heard groups of people yelling, multiple people drinking, and then others making out in the corner. Shouldn't these people be studying?

I kept looking around the room when someone approached me. He had dark brown hair, a lime green hoodie, and big black pants. I could tell right off the bat was his role was:

The alpha wolf.

He had big gray bushy ears, but strangely enough no tail. What was also odd was him eyeing me up and down. I shouldn't have worn this outfit! It was far too noticeable. I didn't want people to look at me. I just want to blend in the background but of course I had to stand out.

I thought about leaving but before I could make a decision John Cena came back holding a couple drinks. He put his hands up to his mouth, completely spilling his drinks in the process, and shouted

"Okay everyone! Thanks for coming to this party! But what's a party without seven minutes in heaven?"

I wanted to cry right then and there. It was my worst nightmare. I wished I could not play but due to the laws I wasn't allowed to tell anyone of a higher ranking than me no. I just had to pray whoever I was stuck with also didn't want to play

Everyone sat down on the floor surrounding a random bottle on the floor. I didn't know much about parties but I'm positive this is not seven minutes in heaven. I sat down next to John and observed who I may be stuck with for 7 minutes.

Eventually once everyone was settled John spoke up, "Alright! Basically someone will spin the bottle and whoever it lands on will have to go upstairs to the closet and do whatever they wish." John paused and looked over at the alpha wolf who was eyeing me before, "Dream since this is your first party over here, why don't you spin first?"

Dream nodded and spun the glass liquor bottle.

It spun,

And spun,

And spun,

Until it landed on me.

I went pale realizing I would have to go with this guy, apparently named Dream, into some dark tight space alone and listen to what he tells me since he's a superior role than what I was assigned.

Dream looked at me and gave me a grin. He grabbed my hand, leading me to the stairs. I tried to read his expressions to understand his intentions with me but I simply couldn't figure it out.

Once we made it into the tight room Dream once again eyed me up and down, taking in every part of me. I couldn't help but do the same. I was reluctant at first but now that we were actually here I couldn't help but be put in a spell.

He leaned close and whispered in my ear, "So… how far are you willing to go?" I took a moment to think. How far did I want to go? I hadn't thought of it before since I wasn't expecting to be asked. Eventually I thought of an answer

"As far as seven minutes will allow us to." Dream grinned at me, wrapping his arms around my waist. Feeling his warm breath on me, he closed the gap between us, kissing me.
