- It was 5.30 in the afternoon when I heard the motorcycle parkingh outside. Trish had just finished setting the table so the task of recieving our guests fell on me. When I opened the door the young couple was already waiting.

- Good evening, Agil-san! Thank you for having us - Asuna bowed slightly .

- Hey, baldie - Kirito lifted his fist, our usual salute.

She was wrapped all around his arm, giving them strong newlyweds vibes. I bowed back and bumped the fist while answering respectively:

- Good evening, Asuna, it's a pleasure to have you. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for you, Blackie.

The boy and I laughed at the mutual banter while the young lady let out a resigned sigh.

- Please, come on in, Trish is waiting for us.

- Excuse me - chanted the couple at the same time, which was rather cute. Kirito and Asuna had been dating for a really long time now, but I still got amazed by the depth of their connection.

Once inside, they hung their coats on a rack and I couldn't help but notice something peculiar about the boy's outfit.

- Since when do you wear anything not-black? Don't get me wrong, it suits you pretty well.

Unlike his usual all-black outfit, he was wearing a pair of plain blue jeans that matched perfectly with the creamy-white button-up shirt, topping it off, or rather bottoming it off, with a pair of light-brown boots that covered all the way to his ankles.

- See! I told you it looked nice on you, Kirito-kun!

- I know I know, but still, I cannot help but to feel weird... like, exposed... - he said taking a glance at his jeans.

- Oh come on, is not like your black clothes have some nonexistant buff to your nonexistant hiding bonus! - Asuna scolded her boyfriend.

At this point it was impossible for me to hold my laughter, so I just let it out all at once, getting the young couple to look at me, both blushing at the same time.

- You two never change, huh?

Suddenly, a delicious and fragant scent started to fill the room, making my nose twitch, just at the exact same time as Kirito's started to do the same.

- Agil, what's that smell? - the boy curiously asked with his eyes closed and his neck stretched as high as possible .

- It smells so good... - Asuna exclaimed copying her boyfriend's gesture.

- That is my special recipe of American-style curry - a beautiful voice came from behind, making me turn.

Leaning on the frame of the kitchen door Trish awaited with a proud smile on her face, probably due to the reaction her cuisin had caused on the young guests. She was dressed with a simple pair of white jeans and an emerald green strapped blouse that suited perfectly, if I say so myself.

She walked towards us and stopped right besides me, giving a little bow to our guests.

- It's been a while, Kirito, Asuna.

The couple returned the bow, and Asuna was the one to speak first.

- It sure has been. Thank you for having us tonight Trish-san - she said while Kirito nodded in agreement.

- It's my pleasure. Now please, sit down while my beloved husband brings us our dinner.

I couldn't stop myself from looking surprised, as she simply smiled at me, not giving any chance to contradict her.
