Hello! 

I have a brief character introduction for you today! As well as some additional general information (very important and please read) you'll need to know throughout the story! (But not too much, I don't want to give anything big away ;) ) 

So, let's get right into it!

~ This book is set in a modern, Greek mythological world, where no story is false, and no creature goes unrecognized. In this word, there are those who live on the ground, those who live in the heavens, and those who live somewhere in between. 

These middle-dwellers are known as the Avium, an elite species of bird-human hybrids created by the Gods themselves. They are bred to be perfect and worship their Goddess, Gaia, by injecting their children with an elixir of her essence in a process known as the Vinculum. 

But perfection comes with a price and not all who inhabit the Middle are built to comply with "perfection". ~
