As a child, Isabella grew up with the Hawthorne brothers, and played along with their grandfather's games, as if she were one of his own. This continued until she was at the ripe age of eight when her parents passed away in a tragic car accident, leaving Isabella without any parental figures. Tobias Hawthorne accepted her into their home, but Isabella was never quite the same after that. She distanced herself from the games, and even blamed herself for her parents' deaths. When she was a teenager, she began to work as one of the housekeepers for Mr. Hawthorne, keeping up the house along with the rest of the staff. She never played any of the games, and though she was still close with all of the brothers, she never allowed herself to fall for any of their charms... that is, until Avery Grambs came around. When she saw just how much time Avery and Jameson had been spending together, jealousy had bubbled within her, the same way it had whenever Emily had played two of the brothers at the same time. Suddenly, she became interested in the game once more. If there was one thing she learned from late Tobias Hawthorne, it was that winning meant everything, and now, she had something to fight for.
