↳ HOUSE OF THE DRAGON is based in the universe of George RR Martin's A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE universe, meaning that many adult themes will be present, such as incest, murder, death, scheming, and other things. The titular character, Aemma, is married to her half brother, Aegon II. It is considered normal for Targaryens to do such things as they wanted to reserve the dragon rider gene. This in no way means that I condone incest, but I felt it was the most logical path to take in a family who does things like this.

↳ my intention is to humanize both sides of the conflict. Aemma is more team green than she is team black, but due to her relations to both sides, she feels a great deal of sympathy towards her sister, Rhaenyra, and really the only mother she's ever known, Alicent.
