When we got to class we saw a couple of friends who weren't on the team.

"So Hana, the game this Friday?" Says one of the guys. "You know it, going against the Cambridge high and we're gonna win."

He laughs and nods.

Cambridge high is our arch-nemesis, our soccer team has won against them almost every game. This year though, we heard they had a player in my ranks. The best defender on the team.

"Alright, class! Settle down!" The teacher yelled at us. The throwing of paper balls stopped and the kids sitting and talking to their friends started to get quiet.

"I hope you all did your homework I assigned to you last Friday."

"How could we not Ms. M if you are  the only teacher who gives us homework on the weekend." A boy finished with a laugh among his buddies. "Very funny Mr. Ortiz, maybe ill even give you Saturday detention." She smiled in sarcasm. Everyone laughed and the boy was left embarrassed.

Joel Ortiz is the typical good-looking guy and smart mouth. He was in his final year of high school, already looking into colleges that might accept him. I wasn't very close with him, and never really tried.

"Alright, Melody could you pick up the homework please." Ms. M asked politely. Melody nodded and picked up our homework then handed it to our teacher.

"Again with the no-name papers. Some of you guys will be finishing high school soon, yall need to learn how to put your names and dates on these papers."

Lyn passed me a note

'Your girlfriend is at the door' i looked at the door. She smiled at me and waved at me to go outside. I raised my hand and asked to go to the bathroom.

"You better hurry Ms. Moon, just because your our school's superstar doesn't mean you'll get special treatment." She said looking at her computer, not even looking at me. I sighed. "Yes ma'am" I walked out of the room and met up with Diane.

"You do know I can't keep leaving," I said.

"Yea I know." She smiled "but I wanna walk with you, now that our friends don't get along."

"True, well then let's walk around." I smiled.

We walked through the hall.

"So...how's the team?" She asked me.

"They're alright," I answered. "We have a game this Friday and we're going against Cambridge high."

"Oh yea, I heard from my cousin that there's a new member who's even better than you." She said hesitantly grabbing my hand. I grabbed her hand myself. "You know, you don't need to be scared to hold my hand right? We're dating, don't be hesitant." I smiled and kissed her cheek.

I saw a hint of light blush on her face. Makes me wonder, does she feel something for me?

"I know, I'm sorry... it's just you have to understand, I've never been with a girl." She blushes and looks away. I smile lightly. "Your right I'm sorry."

I lift her chin to face me. I smile at her and make her get more flustered.

I lean in to kiss her.

Beep Beep Beep

It was my watch, meaning it was time for me to get back to class. "Sorry love. I gotta go" I quickly kiss her on the lips and smile and run to class.

When I got to class, Lyn was writing something that she then gave to me.

'You left your phone here and got a call, it read Jordan' i looked at her and smiled "thanks" I whispered.

After class, I walked with lyn when I saw Diane talking to her friends. I went up behind her and hugged her. "Hello..." I whispered in her ear.

She made a little noise which was cute. I chuckled "did I scare you?"

"Yes!" She laughed turned around and kissed me.

"C'mon Moon." Lyn grabbed me by my backpack and pulled me away from Diane. "Whoa!" I yelled almost falling. "Hey, now Flores...your best friend wants to have her time with our girl."

"Move it." Lyn glared at the smaller, blonde girl. "Make me." The smaller girl said. Lyn let me go and was all up in the girl's face.

"Lyn..." I said looking at both Lyn and Diane to call off her friend.

"Quinn, stop. We agreed we'd stay neutral." Diane said.

"Listen to your captain...Quinn." Lyn said. "You to Flores," Quinn said. "Don't. Call. Me. Flores." Lyn clenched her jaw. Quinn smiled at her, "you have pretty eyes but a very smart-ass mouth."

"Alright, alright, let's go, Lyn." I grabbed the back of her neck leading her away from Quinn. When we were further away, I looked at Lyn. "Dude...what's up between you and Quinn?"

Lyn had light blush on her face. "N-Nothing..." she look to the other side noticing that I was staring.

"You...you like her don't you?" I smiled in disbelief. I mean Lyn is good with both guys and girls but out of all the girls, Quinn is her choice?

"W-What!? No! You're crazy moon!" She yelled and began to speedwalk. I just laughed at her getting flustered by a harmless question. "Oh c'mon, Lyn! It's ok! Hold up!" I started yelling which made me get stared at.

When I caught up to Lyn and laughed about our conversation someone placed their hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see the principal's secretary.
