There are a thousand ways to say I love you.
You can say it through cups of coffee
Through held hands,
Through poetry
And through the stars.
But I found there are too few ways to say the opposite.
For I do not love you
So please, please do not say those words.
Please stay quiet with my arms wrapped around you
Please stay silent as my invisible love drowns you.
Because I do, I do.
But not like you.
I love you incorrectly
And I am so, so
sorry.
