・2- Reunion ・

The next morning, the sun shone through mikes curtains as he recalled the events of the previous night.
"Shit!"
Running down to the basement, he saw Leo  sat expectantly, with El close by him.
"Uhh, morning guys!- Listen, I gotta get to school, so you can either come and lay low or stay here"
"Go with Mike"
"Well, that's settled then I guess, you want breakfast?"

Their heads tilted in confusion
"Breakfast?- you know- just forget it, I'll be back in a sec okay? Don't. Move."

After a few minutes, he returned with a circular food.
"These are waffles. Give em a try! "
El bit into it and her eyes lit up
"Nice huh"
Leo wasn't so sure. He took a bite, and it tasted okay, but he thought it was bland.
"Don't like it? Ill have to rethink it for next time" Mike spoke with a smile
"Cmon then, we gotta go. El, we can steal one of my sisters dresses and fix your hair somehow. Leo, I think you should be okay"

Dustin and Lucas showed up to help with Els look. They gathered makeup and clothes from Nancy and a wig from a dress up box. Eventually, they were done and El looked relatively normal.

"Perfect! Okay, let's go to school"
"You're bringing them to school!? "
"Uh, duh, what did you think the makeover was for? "
"So they didn't look like freaks?! "
El began to glare at them
"Freaks? "
"It's nothing Leo. "
"Leo? Who's Leo? "
"Him! "

Leo frowned towards Eleven as the boys argued.
"Whatever, let's just go. Leo, you can ride with me on my bike. El, go with Lucas"

They arrived at the school and managed to sneak the pair into all of mikes classes unnoticed some how.

Everything was going great, until they were exiting the school at the end of the day

"Oh hey Mike- wait.. Is that? "
"Hey Johnathan, is that who? "

"That boy.. He seems familiar.. Wait- WILL!? "
"huh!? "
"This isn't will, this is Leo! "
Mike glanced at 'Leo' and the more he thought about it, he did really look like will.
"Will? Is that you?"
"Who is 'Will'?"
"Aha! He even sounds like him! Have you been hiding him from us Mike!?"
"Wh- nonono I swear I didn't know!"

Johnathan dragged Leo into a hug.
"I can't believe it's you"
"J-john..athan?"
"Yeah, that's me buddy" the taller boy said with teary eyes
"Johnathan!" Le- Will cried as he embraced the bone crushing hug

El spoke up
"Who is will?"
Will pointed to himself
"Will"
She frowned in confusion
"No, Twelve"

"Who's twelve?"
"It's a long story"

"Anyways, Will! Don't you remember me?"
Wills face scrunched up In thought before his eyes lit up and he leaped onto Mike
"W-woah there! Is that a yes?" He laughed
"Yes"
El raised her hand and pushed Mike and Johnathan away from Will
"Huh? Wha-"
"No. Bad."
"Eleven! Mike and Johnathan, not bad"

"Why are they talking like that?"
"I don't know, wherever they escaped from clearly didn't teach them much at all"
Will pulled El into a hug and stretched his arms out towards Mike and his brother.

They all formed a group hug before quickly separating when they realised everyone else had gone home.
"we should probably go-"
"Yep"

They all piled into Johnathans car, will sat close by Mike, his hand rested on the other boys

Mikes face felt warm as his eyebrows knitted.
What does this mean?
Why do I feel so warm?
Why do I feel so happy?
It's just cuz Will has returned.
Right?
