Chapter 1- Elx

Vurk. A supernatural energy that resides within the air, environment and even on certain people. A Vurk grants superhuman abilities and powers to an individual which is manifested at a very young age.­ Rumors has it that there is another way to obtain it this amazing ability.

An extremely tired young man is walking down a path while carrying a girl who happens to be unconscious. He walked down a long road with a grey sky that looked like it was about to rain anytime soon. As he was walking, he eventually appeared to be at a bus stop near a school. The young man eventually trips and accidentally falls with the fainted girl. He slowly got up and started carrying her back, but he noticed a mysterious man in a black coat standing menacingly on the other side of the road-

Nekuro and his friends were hanging out in a café somewhere in the city. They were celebrating a friend's accomplishment for winning first place in a chess competition located at their school, this accomplishment was achieved by a girl named Amelia. Other than Nekuro and Amelia, there were 2 other friend members with them which is Okami and Hide, they're both males so as Nekuro. It was slightly unusual for someone to be celebrating winning a chess competition, but hey, it is never easy to be ranked on top.

Time have passed to night time. It is time where everyone go back their ways. The quickest way for Nekuro to head back home is by going through a forest which luckily had "some" lightpost scattered everywhere so his route home is not pitch dark. Further through the forest has a huge plain field there. As Nekuro reached the field, there was suddenly an injured child fainted in the middle of the field surrounded with debris of something unknown.

Nekuro: An Elx, What's an Elx doing here?

The fainted child was then noticed as an Elx. An Elx is a living being which resided by a powerful Vurk while having the appearance of a child. When Nekuro was going to the café going through the same route, there was no fainting child in the middle of the field. After observing the area around the Elx, He then found which seems to be a shard coloured in purple with an electricity aura. After observing the shard for some times, the shard suddenly went through Nekuro as if he absorbed by it. He was pretty confused at the time and after looking through the area again, he decides to leave, leaving the Elx behind. As Nekuro walked away further and further, the Elx slowly opened her eyes seeing a person walking away, which is obviously Nekuro. She only saw him for a brief moment then continues to closed her eyes.

In a world called Eath, Nekuro was born with a wind type of Vurk. Unfortunately, he's Vurk ability is pretty weak. He's strenght in using the Wind Vurk is as similair as strong as a ceiling fan. He also goes to school as an 17 year old student with his friends, Okami, Amelia and Hide, they're all are non-Vurk users.

Fast Forwarding from Nekuro leaving the field, he eventually reached his home. Just as he shuts the front door as he entered the house, he suddenly felt paralyzed and was lying down on the floor struggling to get up. The paralyzing effect then disappears on it's own. The reason for this effect that he suddenly felt paralyzed was probably most likely because of the purple shard he accidentally absorbed.

Time went on and it is currently the next day, same thing happened as he was getting ready to school. Nekuro's parents are outstationed due to work so he is living alone for a couple of months. Nekuro is slightly worried heading to school but luckily, it went fine. For the rest of the school time, it didn't happened again, he only felt slight dizziness. The paralyzation would occur some time eventually through the day and day then dissappears once again.

For the next few days, he is slowly getting better.

It is night time currently and he is in the field which this time is located in front of his house, sitting on a bench. He was just chilling there doing some things on his phone while feeling the breezing at night. He was there because he is waiting for Amelia wanting to discuss some things. After some times, she finally appears.
