hello friends,
this fic will have a lot of ballet terminology in it so i'm going to quickly give a rundown on some common terms before we start!!
pas de deux: typically a romantic duet between a male and female dancer, meant to represent two bodies, one soul.
pas de trois: a dance with three dancers
pas de quatre: a dance with four dancers
fouetté: a difficult turn
plie: a bend in the knees
port de bras: the positioning of a dancers arms
eschappé: a movement involving a leap from both feet simultaneously
sissone: a step in which legs are spread in the air and closed on the descent
