Luke's pov

At school i was sitting at the lunch table with jake and his friends and i was sitting on the table as jake and his friends were laughing and rory and ethan and benny walked into the cafeteria and i nodded towards rory who walked away and i got confused as jake put on some music and i shook my head as i turned it off and jonah sat on the table next to me and i smiled at him as benny still didnt like me, he thinks im still working for jesse and when i looked at benny we stared at each other and he awkwardly looked away and i looked down and me and jonah talked to each other and we walked to my locker and benny walked over to me and my friends walked away

" Hey " i said as benny leaned against the locker

" Hi " benny said

" What's wrong with rory? " I asked benny

" I dont know he's rory " benny said as i got confused

" I wanted to talk to you " benny said

" Okay " i said

" Do you know why faun broke up with me? " Benny asked me

" No " i said closing my locker

" What? " Benny said

" You walked over here to talk about faun? " I asked him as i leaned against my locker

" No " benny said

Rory's pov

I was at my locker with ethan when i seen benny and luke talking and leaning against the lockers and then they were just staring at each other and it made me think does benny like luke, i watched as benny licked his lips and luke looked down at his feet and back at benny as they continued talking and benny walked away as luke looked at me and i looked away and walked to Ethan's house as we watched a movie and instead of sitting next to me luke sat next to benny and jane placed her legs over luke and bennys as she layed down and luke and benny shared popcorn as i lightly leaned forward and looked at benny and luke who were watching the movie and eating popcorn and i leaned back and sighed after jane fell asleep and sarah put her to bed me and ethan and luke and benny went to the diner and luke sat next to benny and i sat next to ethan and we ordered food and luke took his straw cover and spit it at benny and benny snickered and lightly nudged luke who smiled as i rolled my eyes and we walked home and instead of luke hopping on my back he hopped onto bennys and benny grabbed his legs and luke wrapped his arms around Benny's neck as i rolled my eyes and luke hopped off Benny's back as we walked into the house

" Dude " benny said as him and luke talked in the kitchen and luke laughed

" What's so funny? " I asked benny and luke awkwardly

" Nothing " benny said as luke looked at him and smiled

" Oh " i said walking away and i sat down and watched as benny and luke stared at each other and smiled and talked and ethan noticed

" Are you okay? " Ethan asked me

" Yeah " i said

" Rory? " Ethan said

" I guess im alittle jealous of benny and lukes friendship " i said

" Luke is your best friend " ethan said

" I dont know " i said as benny licked his lips at luke and luke just stared at him

" Come on " ethan said as i watched benny and luke and ethan and me and benny and luke went for a drive and benny and luke sat in the back and i sat in the front with ethan who was driving and benny and luke were dancing and singing to a song and i looked in the mirror but my reflection wasn't there and we drove back to Ethan's house and luke fell asleep and benny fell asleep and i talked with ethan in the kitchen and benny woke up and walked over to us and ethan walked away and benny looked at me

" What? " Benny asked me

" Nothing " i said

" Ethan " benny said as ethan walked over to us and grabbed his phone and talked to mikayla

" Hey " benny said as luke walked over to us

" Hey " luke said as i walked away and watched as luke hopped on the counter and benny and him talked and luke walked over to his piano and grabbed Benny's hand and showed him how to play piano as i rolled my eyes, luke played a song and benny smiled and we walked to school

Luke's pov

At school rory wasn't talking to me and they were holding auditions at the auditorium and benny brought me a snack and rory rolled his eyes and ethan wanted to talk to me in the hallway and rory and benny followed me as ethan pulled me to his locker and me and ethan started arguing

Rory's pov

Me and benny watched as luke and ethan argued and luke walked away and left the school as ethan walked away and i tried following luke but benny stopped me and followed luke as i got confused

Benny's pov

I followed luke and sat on the bench with him as he was tearing up

" What's wrong? " I asked luke

" Mikayla's moving " luke said as i smiled

" Oh " i said

" She called ethan and told him i have to move to " luke said as i looked at him and sighed

" No " i said

" Shes my mom " luke said

" Come on " i said as luke rested his head on my shoulder and i put my arm around him and i talked to him about moving and that Ethan's his dad  and rory seen us and walked away

Luke's pov

At home i sat in the living room as rory sat down

" What's wrong? " I asked rory

" Nothing " rory said

" I wanted to talk to you " i said as rory looked at me

" Your my best friend and you helped me control my powers " i said tearing up

" Luke? " Rory said

" Mikayla's moving and i am to " i said as rory gave me a look

" No " rory said

" Rory " i said as he got up and i got up

" Your my best friend " rory said as ethan and benny watched

" Shes my mom " i said as rory scoffed

" Yeah and shes messed with our heads " rory said

" I understand " i said

" No you dont " rory said as i got confused

" What? " I asked rory

" You dont understand how i feel when im with you " rory said as i stared at him

" What are you talking about? " I asked rory

" I like you " rory said as i got confused

" What? " I said confused

" I love you " rory said as i slowly got weirded out and started walking away slowly as rory shook his head

" No " rory said as i slowly tried walking away

" Luke i can explain " rory said as i walked out of the house
