Ethan's pov

At school me and benny were walking through the hallways when i stopped at my locker and opened it up and benny was talking to me and leaning against the lockers as he crossed his arms and looked around the hallway till his eyes caught fauns eyes and she was walking with friends and she smiled at him and he smirked at her as faun and her friends stopped in the hallway at her locker and talked and faun kept looking at benny and smiling as she wrote something on a small piece of paper and faun walked over to us and smiled

" Hey dad, benny " faun said as i smiled at her

" Hey " i said

" I just wanted to talk to benny " faun said as i gave her a confused look

" Okay " benny said

" So um one of my friends think your really cute and she asked me to give you her number " faun said handing benny a small piece of paper with a phone number on it and benny grabbed it and looked at it and smiled and put it in his pocket

" Cool " benny said smiling

" See ya later " faun said walking away as she walked back over to her friends and ethan looked at me and i looked at phone and she mouthed call me and i smiled

" What are you doing? " I said feeling protective of faun as benny was confused by this new side of me

" What? " Benny said

" If you want a girlfriend in high school thats fine but do me a favor and date someone else " i said as i kinda slammed my locker shut and benny got confused

" Ethan whatever you think is going on between me and faun " benny tried to say but i cut him off

" There's nothing going on between you and faun " i said as benny nodded and i walked away and benny got confused as rory walked over to him

Benny's pov

After faun gave me her number and ethan gave me a lecture he walked away and rory walked up to me

" I've never seen ethan act this way before " i said as rory was confused

" What happened? " Rory asked me

" Faun gave me her phone number in front of ethan and ethan gave me a lecture " i said as rory slightly nodded

" Faun likes me but if i like her ill be in trouble with ethan and mikayla " i said as me and rory walked to lunch and me and rory sat down next to each other and i seen faun sitting with her friends and she smiled at me and i smirked at her as i took out the paper and wrote her phone number down in my phone and i texted the number as i watched her read the text and rory looked at her and then back at me with his mouth slightly open as faun texted me back and i smiled at the text till ethan came over and faun put her phone away and i put my phone away and rory acted normal

" Benny im sorry about the way i acted something just came over me " ethan said as i nervously smiled as i glanced at faun and back at ethan

" Its okay, I understand your being protective over your own kid " i said as ethan smirked

" Its just weird " ethan said as i smiled

" I understand" i said

" Sarah can't watch jane today so can you help me with babysitting today? " Ethan asked me as i nodded

After school i was watching movies with ethan and luke and faun and jane were playing games on the floor and ethan went to the bathroom and faun sat next to me and smiled at me

" Hey " faun said

" Hi " i said nervously

" You dont have to nervous around me benny " faun said as her wavy light brown hair and brown eyes made me smile

" Its just your Ethan's daughter and he's my best friend " i said nervously as faun got confused

" That's means we can't be friends? " Faun asked me

" No " i said confused as faun lightly grabbed my hand and smiled

" Your cool " faun said as her hand intertwined with mine and she stopped and sat on the floor as ethan cane back and i looked at my hand and at ethan and felt confused
