A Thin Line Between Us

Closer was playing and everyone stopped dancing. They were all raising their red cups while singing along.

Iris was clinging to me while she was singing at the top of her lungs and as our boys. I was just enjoying the moment while I dance and feel the beat.

Tumabi na si Kael sa DJ at ayun feeling artista ulit dahil ang ibang mga babae naman na sumasayaw at nag tetake ng video ay natuon na sakanya ang pansin. Well, at least nag eenjoy ang lahat. Kael continued singing as if he was leading the crowd. Boys were filming it while enjoying everything.

Binitawan na ako ni Iris at tuluyan nato nag mix sa crowd. Naka ngiti lang ako habang tinitingnan sila.

"You should loosen up a bit, madam" says Exon from behind.

I looked at him and he was already turning red because of the alcohol. Unlike the crowd, he wasn't singing nor dancing. He was just enjoying the moment. Refilling his cup with another booze.

"Nah. I'm enjoying the show" I replied and gave him a smile.

It was true. I am enjoying it. Well, I have to enjoy this since tomorrow's gonna be another rough day.

"Do you want another refill? I'll refill mine." I asked exon since it looks like he's about to finish his cup again.

Mukhang kami na lang umiinom dahil nag eenjoy na silang lahat sa crowd. Also, knowing Iris and Kael, they have the ability to have free inumin from the crowd.

"Let's go together" he said. Tumango lang ako in response and we made our way to our cubicle.

Exon refilled his cup first then mine. This time we just mixed Hennessy and cola. Napa upo ako sa sofa. Na pagod kasi ako kakatayo.

"Ayaw mo pa bumalik sa baba?" Exon asked.

"Nah I'll stay here. I need to check some emails then baba ako ulit" I said and he just smiled before siya lumabas ng cubicle.

Wala naman talagang email. Gusto ko lang talaga muna irecharge sarili ko kahit sandali. Ang daming tao.

Uminom ako sa baso na hawak ko habang tinitingnan ko ang phone ko. There was one message from Achilles telling me he's going out with his friends. It didn't surprise me at all. Who doesn't drink these days?

He didn't mention where. It doesn't matter. We're clearly talking bec we're both bored. Tho I would not deny the fact that it's giving me some excitement but other than that, wala na.

Bumaba ako ulit. This time, dala dala ko na ang isang bote ng tequila. I saw Exon sa crowd. His lips rose and he looked amazed. I left out a small laugh.

I went near him and nasa tabi niya na pala si Iris na may kasayaw ng koreano. Ang landi! Hahaha! Kael was nowhere to be found. Baka may nadale na.

We were all dancing while drinking. Everyone was going wild as if the world's ending.

Nasa 7 eleven kami ngayon. Naka upo lang kami sa labas neto at sa may space sa parking lot habang hawak ni Kael yung buhok ni Iris sa may basurahan dahil suka ito ng suka.

"Damn, siguraduhin mo na isusuka mo lahat pls. Huhu wag ka sa car ko magsusuka ha" Kael was literally begging Iris and Iris was just raising her thumb.

I was just drinking water. Hindi ko alam kung tatawa ako or ma stestress. Ganon naman talaga. After enjoying the night, you'll beg God to make you ok cause you wanna vomit it all.

Nag vibrate nanaman phone ko kaya tiningnan ko agad. One text was from Achilles saying their moving sa bahay ng kaibigan niya. I see that he is a heavy drinker.
