It's just an interview Zoey. You've had plenty of them before. Just make sure you've checked all the basics, you have to look professional if you want to be professional. Appearance is key.

5. Eaten breakfast and brushed teeth - Check
6. Papers of qualifications put in bag - Check
Ok, I'm ready. I feel sick. I hate this. Can't I just work at home? I hate talking in front of people! I always had my mum do that sort of stuff for me! No, Zoey! You can't keep playing the mummy card, not anymore. You are a grown woman and you can do this, just like mother said. You're grown up and a hard dedicated worker. You can do this, take a deep breath.

Having interviews with people to join my company can go one of two ways. Down the boring and "what's the point?" path. Or down the "I'm glad you came in to talk to me" path. Both pathways tend to be boring and have no sense of thrill for me. I don't like when people show nerves around me, I want someone who is straight to the point and shows confidence in what they're doing. Nerves at an interview are normally expected but you also what is expected of you in an interview and that includes showing your trustworthy and professional. You need to be able to take calls, go to meetings, organise meetings, create staff days and get the boards in to talk about ideas.
I want someone who's going to do all of that and pull through for me at the same time. Someone like that is hard to find these days, I still await them to stumble through my door.
