Y/n ran all the way home. She couldn't stop thinking about joey and the sheriff and the breakup.
She ran into her room slammed the door and jumped on her bed and cried harder.
After a while she picked up her phone and saw her locks screen. Her and joey. She nearly phoned him but she knew that couldn't happen if he was now on the run so she just laid there reading old messages between her and joey.
Time skip

Y/n had been doing fine. She been working really hard in a restaurant so she could keep paying to go to school.
She did think about joey a lot and wondered if he was okay. Little did she know joey is back.
Joeys pov
I returned home even though I supposed to be on the run but I missed y/n so much.
I went to her house hoping she was there but she wasn't but I heard she was a waitress at some restaurant so I made my way there. Obviously I don't have a car and I can't call an Uber just in case someone recognized me. So I walked all the way into town which I regret doing.
Once I arrived I looked in the window and saw the most beautiful girl y/n. All I wanted to do was run and hug her.
I waited outside for a while until her shift finally finished.
She walked out.
Y/n" I yelled.
Y/n pov
"Y/n" I heard a familiar voice say.
I turned around and saw a guy with his hood up but once he revealed his face my heart stopped.
" Joey? " I thought I was seeing things.
" Yes it's me" he said gently taking her hand.
" You shouldn't be here it's not safe" y/n panicked.
" I know but I missed you so much and I regret how we left things" joey said with guilt on his voice.
Y/n nodded. She felt the same way. She constantly still thinks about there last conversation.
" Y/n I'm sorry about dumping you. leaving you was the worst decision of my life. Without you in my life I'm miserable. I hate being without you. I miss you. I miss your smile and dancing with you and falling asleep with you in my arms and I definitely miss arguing on movie night about what movie to watch. So I came back to ask you something? Joey said.
Y/n looked at him confused.
" What do you want to ask" y/n asked.
He took in a deep breath.
" Come to Canada with me" he asked.
Y/n wasn't expecting that but she wanted to be with joey again.
" Okay" y/n said unexpectedly.
" Wait really you don't mind being on the run? " Joey asked.
" Joey I missed you too. Life has been boring without you. I miss everything about you too" y/n said hugging him.
Joey smiled and picked y/n up and spinned her around.
" Well you better get packed" he whispered softly.
Y/n went home and packed. She handed her notice in at her job. As for school she was just going to look for some online courses. Her main goal right now was being with joey.
She got in her car.
They looked at each and kissed.
" I love you joey"
" I love you more"
