003 (Billy Hargrove x OC)

Chapter 14

-003/Trisha Henderson POV-

Everyone was silent after Mike's declaration of love for my sister.
El came out of her room, just as the silence had fallen.
"What's going on?" she asked.

"Nothing, nothing" said Mike.
"Just a family discussion" said Lucas.
"Oh" said Eleven. "I found him"

"Found who?" asked Nancy.
"Billy" said El and I looked at her.

I held my sister's hands, I went into her mind to see what she was seeing.
"Is it always dark like this?" I asked, we were walking in what seemed water...
"Yes" she said. "There"

We saw Billy, he was just sitting there...
We took off our blindfolds and cleaned our noses.
"What's he doing now?" asked Max.

"He was just sitting there" I whispered. "In his room"
"And that's not normal, right?" asked Nancy.
"Billy staying in his room on the Fourth of July?" said Max. "No, that's not normal"

"He wants us to find him" said Will.
"Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of" said Nancy. "If we go to Billy, then the rest of the flayed know where we are"
"It's a trap, I agree" said Mike. "We'll be ambushed"

"We won't be surprised" said Lucas. "We'll know that they're coming, and we will kick their flayed butts"
"You mean El and Trisha will kick their butts" said Max.
"It's too risky" said Mike.

"Yeah and unnecessary" said Nancy. "Killing the flayed won't stop the Mind Flayer. We have to find out where it's spreading from. We have to find the source"
"Billy knows it" said Eleven. "Billy's been there. To the source"
"Yeah, but..." said Mike.

"It's a trap, I know" said Eleven and she looked at me.
"We can't go to Billy, but I can get inside his head" I said. "With sister's help, we could see where he's been"

"El, I know you think you have to do this, but you don't" said Mike. "It's just... you guys haven't done this before. You did it once with your mom, and Three only did it when the people were close by. Billy's mind is... is sick, diseased. The Mind Flayer is in him"
"He can't hurt us" said Eleven. "Not in there"
"We don't know that" said Mike.

Eleven took his hand and looked into his eyes.
"Mike" she whispered. "I need you to trust me"
"Yeah" he said. "Just be careful"

We put on our blindfolds and took each other's hands.
I got inside Eleven's mind quickly and we went to Billy, he wasn't looking too good...
"Billy" I whispered and held his hand, El grabbed his other one. "Can you hear me? We want to see. We want to see what happened"

He looked into my eyes and grabbed our wrists...
We struggled and he suddenly let go of my sister.
He grabbed my other wrist and pulled me closer.

"Get out" he said. "Run, Trisha. Go!"
"Billy" I said and saw he was fighting. "Please come back"
"I can't" he said. "I'm so tired. I don't know how long I can fight, Trish"

"I will get it out of you" I whispered. "I promise, I promise"
"Run" he said and I pulled off my blindfold and saw my sister was still in her trance.
"Trisha!" said Max and hugged me.
"We need to hurry" I whispered. "Billy... he can't fight for much longer"

-Eleven POV-

I landed on a beach...
"Sister?!" I yelled and looked around me, she was nowhere to be found... "Sister!"
"El" it was sister... "I'm okay, Billy pushed me out. Are you okay?"

"I'm okay" I said.
"What's going on?" asked Mike.
"I'm... on a beach" I said.

"Okay, I may be dense, but the last I checked, there weren't any beaches in Hawkins" said Lucas.
"What else do you see?" asked Max.
I saw a beautiful woman...
"A woman" I said. "She's... pretty. I... I think she's looking at me"

The woman was waving and smiling.
"Woo!" she shouted. "Yeah!"
A boy with a surfboard passed me...
"You did it!" shouted the woman.

"There's... a boy" I said.
"Did you see that?" asked the boy to the woman.
"Yeah, I saw that!" said the woman.

"That was at least seven feet" said the boy.
"I don't know what it was, but it almost gave me a heart attack" said the woman.
"Ten more minutes?" he asked.

"Yeah, okay, ten more minutes" she said. "But any longer than that, Dad's gonna be mad, okay?"
"Okay!" he shouted.
"Billy?" shouted the woman. "Watch out for rip currents!"

"I know!" said the boy, Billy...
"It's Billy" I said.
"It's California" said Max.
"It's a memory" said sister.

I heard a thunder sound and saw the thing I was looking for...
"I think I see it" I said. "The source"
"Okay, sister. I need you to listen to me" said sister. "You'll probably see a lot of memories. Try not to get lost in them. Do not lose focus of your goal"

I started walking towards the thunder cloud...
"Billy!" it was sister, in a memory... "Put me down!"
"No way" he chuckled and kissed her softly.

"You embarrass me" she said and he smiled.
"I know" he said. "Come on, I need to show you this place I found. I think you'll like to draw it"
"Really?" she was excited and I could see how soft Billy looked at her.

'He really loves her'
"But" she said. "Next time, we go to a place you like. Okay?"
"Okay" he said.

"I want to know what you like" she said.
"You" he said and kissed her cheek.
"Other things" she chuckled. "I want to know you"

"Okay" he said and picked her up again.
"Aah! Billy!" she laughed and clung to him.
'Sister really looks happy...'

I walked further and saw Billy getting ready for something.
"You okay?" it was Susan, Max's mother.
"Does this look okay?" he asked and she was surprised.

"This must be a very special girl, if you're asking my opinion" she said.
"She is" he said. "And it's the first time she agreed on a date, so I really don't want to mess this up"
"You look handsome, Billy" she said. "Where are you taking her?"

"A picknick" he said. "She has this favourite spot in Hawkins, she likes to draw. So I was thinking there"
"Romantic" she said. "I'm sure she'll love it"
"Okay" he said and smiled. "See you later"
"Say hi to Trisha for me!" shouted Max.

I walked further, I passed a lot of happy memories of him and sister...
Their first date, their first kiss, him coming to her when his father hurt him, him practicing how to say 'I love you' to her, planning to go to California,...

But after the happy memories... came the not so good ones...
I saw his father yelling at him, his father hitting his mother, his mother going away and not coming back...
I was getting closer to the point Billy was flayed...

I found it...
"I think I found it" I said. "The source"
"Where, El?" asked Max. "Where are you?"
"Brimborn Steelworks" I said.

"Found it" said Jonathan. "6522 Cherry Oak Drive"
"That's close" said Nancy.
"El, El, we found it. Get out of there" said Mike. "Get out!"

I pulled off my blindfold, but no one was there...
"Mike?!" I yelled. "Sister?!"
"They can't hear you" it was Billy's voice... "You shouldn't have looked for me. Because now I see you. Now we can all see you. You... let us in. And now... you are going to have to let us stay. Don't you see? All this time, we've been building it. We've been building it... for you. All that work, all that pain... all of it... for you. And now it's time. Time to end it. And we are going to end you. And when you are gone, we are going to kill your sister, with this body. And we are going to end your friends"

"No!" I screamed.
"And then we are going to end everyone" he said.
"Get away!" I screamed and used my powers.

I woke up and this time I was surrounded by my friends.
"No!" I screamed and I felt my sister's and Mike's arms around me...
"El, you're okay, it's... it's okay" said Mike.
"Sister" said sister and I held her hand. "You're safe now"

-003/Trisha Henderson POV-

After sister finally calmed down, she told us what she saw.
"At first, it was happy memories" she said and looked at me. "You were in a lot of them. He loves you, very much..."
"I know" I whispered.

"And then... he said he was building something" she said. "That it was all for me"
"Building something..." said Max. "Is he talking about the flayed?"
"He must be" said Nancy.

"So, he's building an army, just like we thought" said Lucas.
"Yeah, but he's not building this army to spread" said Mike.
"He's building it to stop sister" I said.

"Last year, El closed the gate on him" said Mike. "I have a feeling that really pissed him off"
"Like, royally" said Lucas.
"And the Mind Flayer now knows that she's the only thing that can stop him" said Mike. "But if she's out of the way..."

"Game over" said Lucas.
"He also said he was gonna kill all of you" said El.
"Yeah, well, that's nice" said Max.

I sensed something...
"Oh shit" I whispered and everyone looked at me.
Nancy looked outside...

"Do you guys hear that?" she asked.
"It's just the fireworks" said Jonathan.
"No" I said and looked at sister. "Billy. When he told you this, it was here in this room?"

She nodded...
The noise was getting louder and louder.
I saw Will touch his neck...
"He knows we're here" he said.
