I found my guilty pleasure,
In the lies you told me once.
I never really realised.
How around you my world started to run.The unfazing stare you used to hold,
Those intense looks you passed my way,
Those knowing smiles you threw at me,
Never failed to take my breath away.I knew you didn't love me,
You were merely attracted.
So the day your proposal came.
I obviously had my feelings retracted. Now you don't pass smiles like you did.
Neither I see you even look at me.
I hate this feeling, but I got to admit,
That without you it's all empty.I know you would never love me.
And I'll surely loose my heart to you.
So I'm cutting ties with a heavy heart now,
To stop any further feelings growing anew. This chapter is over now.
But I don't want to let go of it yet.
And I'll forever wonder what would have happened,
If in a different chapter, we'd met.
