Breath inhabited, voice audible, writings once so clear upon the mirrored self, are now blurry smudged drawings they said made beautiful representations for abstract themes.
The unravelling of this thread was symbolic of a body undressed, violated, and left naked for the world to see.
A soul corrupted beyond redemption, with a spirit that couldn’t take the advances the world had made upon it.
Succumbing to unrelenting darkness, light removed its presence where unwanted.
Shattered glass lay upon the floor, waiting to be picked up and glued back together; it would not be the end for this shattered mirror.
