Chapter 1《》Shadow

Their screams are my sense of peace but to others, it's their nightmare.

Threw the dark lonely alley ways they vanish, their sweet so called innocent faces will never be seen again. Yet that does not bother me one bit. I love seeing the last bit of life in them before their eyes shut and open again, but not to see me again. Instead to the burning red gates of hell -the very place they all belong in-

The tip tapping sound of her heels echoed threw the night, the sky as dark as could be. You should've took a bus tonight sweetheart, or went home with a friend. She stepped into the alley way and made her way down but I already noticed she was being followed. She must've noticed as well due to the fact that her pace increased. The guy grabbed her arm and she tried pulling away but he seemed pretty strong. Now's my time to shine.. in the dark that is

"Hey there buddy, why don't you leave my girlfriend alone" I stepped in just in time

"quien mierda eres tu?" (Who the fuck are you?) His voice seemed pretty irritated

Guess this is gonna irritate him more now

"Su novio" (her boyfriend) I told him "so please, Vete a la mierda" (fuck off)

The guy let go of my lady's arm and stepped back. What an idiot. Maybe I should've caught him too, but he seems like a hassle. My eyes tracked the guy as he turned and backed off slowly, I made sure he was out of sight before turning to the lady who had a smile on her face

"Thank you so much" She's kinda cute, that's such a shame though

Such a pretty face gone to waste..

"What's a pretty lady like you doing outside this late anyways?" I casually collected my information about her before I make my move

"I just finished work late, I planned to finish my bucket list today" she has so much hope that she'll actually finish it

"That sounds interesting" I stared at her body, taking notice of the tight knee length skirt and white button up shirt she had on

"I don't have anyone to do it with though" She turned to me with that same pearly white smile on those pink lips

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested to see what's on my prey's bucklet list. "I see, name one on your list"

"Break my virginity" she smiled

The Moonlight was bright enough for me to see her face clearly but she couldn't see mine. I hid in the shadows, dressed in all black, only exposing my dark grey eyes to her

"Very well, good luck with that" I stepped aside to walk away but she grabbed my arm. Perfect. Come to me, little mouse

"Wait! Sir.. Please help me" she begged "I don't have any male friends or boyfriend's to do it with"

No friends huh? Which means there will be no one waiting for her. I glanced over my shoulder to look down at her. She's definitely pretty but more like the nerdy kinda pretty.

"You wanna have a one night stand with some random strange you just met?" This is gonna be too easy tonight

I watched the way she bit her lip in thought of my question but she must be really desperate if she's asking me this. I must say she is stupid for a pretty girl. Oh well. I don't care what happens to her. She's my meal tonight anyways

"That's fine with me" she pulled on the hem of my black hoodie, bringing me down to her eye level

My grey eyes meeting her brown ones in warning, keeping my tone controlled and level. "You gonna regret this"

"No regrets" she spoke softly, her eyes flickering between my eyes and lips

"You must be going threw a lot if you are really willing to sleep with a stranger. Okay, come on"

I stepped back and started walking through the alleyway, further down is my fun house. I would never take any of my prey to my actual house

"Where are we going?" She asked, her heels echoing in the night as she followed close behind me

"My place, you want to have sex, don't you?"

"Y-yes"

"Then come on"

I led her further, getting close to my place. I had to make sure no was around or could see us. I suppose I can bite this time and no make it a quick on for her

"Can I see your face?" She asked

"Not yet" I told her

"Aw, it's like you're one with the shadows though"

I chuckled to myself "That's the point, sweetheart" I looked over my shoulder at her

We walked the dark roads back to my place, this is just gonna make things a whole lot easier for me. We got back to my place and all the lights were off, I guided her up to the guest bedroom and left her stuff aside before turning to look at her, my eyes on her body immediately, taking in every inch. The way she bit her lip with nerves, the way her hands trembled and fidgeted with her nails*

"No backing out down, darling~" My tone, deep, controlled, and ready

I didn't even get her name though, will it matter if I did? Although, it would make things a little more entertaining to say the least

"I.. I'm not backing out.." She said, trying to convince herself more than me it seems. "What's your name? I didn't get it"

A low chuckle left the back of my throat as I finally stopped right in front of her, towering her small frame as I pinned hips against mine

"You really wanna know?"

Her eyes fluttered looking up at me. She was already weak in the knees and I didn't even touch her yet, I let my fingertips trace the sides of those small hips, letting her body shiver under my touch

"Y-yes.. I need to know who's name I'll be screaming tonight." Her tone, breathless, perfect

I'm almost entertained. My hands slide lower to her thighs and gripped it as my lips brushed the shell of her ear, warm breath brushing her skin as I whisper

"Good answer. You can call me.. Shadow"

"Shadow? Okay.. I'm Lisa"

"Lisa huh?" I kissed her jaw then stared deep into her eyes. "Let's see if you can handle the dark"

The lights were dull as she smiled at me. This should be interesting. I'll give her what she wants

Then I'll take what I want..
