The rhythmic tick-tock of the clock echoed through the deserted Cyberaya train station. Ali, a young boy with a curious glint in his eyes, sat impatiently on a bench. He had been waiting for hours, his gaze fixed on the digital display that indicated the delayed train. It was already past eleven, and a sense of unease crept into his heart.
Suddenly, a distant whistle pierced the night's silence. Ali's head snapped up as a colossal, crimson steam locomotive emerged from the fog. Its gleaming metal body and billowing smoke contrasted sharply with the futuristic cityscape of Cyberaya. A wave of confusion washed over him. This wasn't the sleek, high-speed train he was accustomed to. A voice came out of nowhere and spoke.

-Red Ressha has arrived, please stand behind the white line-
As the train rumbled to a halt, Ali boarded the archaic vehicle, his mind racing with questions. The interior was equally perplexing, filled with antique furnishings and a vintage charm. The same voice is heard again.
-Now leaving please hold onto your belongings before departure -
Ali's heart pounded with anticipation as the train chugged forward, disappearing into the darkness. Little did he know, this peculiar journey would lead him to a place beyond his wildest dreams.

Location: Unknown train station Time:12:00 P.M.
The train screeched to a halt, its powerful engine finally silenced. Ali stepped off, his eyes scanning the surroundings. A towering, ancient wall stretched as far as the eye could see, blocking any view beyond. Disoriented and confused, he realized he must have missed his stop. But as he turned to reboard the train, it had already pulled away, leaving him stranded.
A small, almost invisible door appeared in the wall, inviting him to enter. With a mix of curiosity and trepidation, Ali stepped through, finding himself transported to a world unlike any he had ever seen. The night sky was a canvas of twinkling stars, and the air was filled with the soft glow of street lamps. A quaint, old-fashioned park stretched out before him, its winding paths leading to mysterious destinations.
Ali wandered through the park, his senses overwhelmed by the strange beauty of this new place. He stumbled upon a small booth, its sign reading "Registration Counter." A young woman with a warm smile and a distinct Australian accent greeted him.
"Welcome to Horizon Academy," she said, her voice filled with excitement. "We've been expecting you."
"How long have you been waiting?" Ali asked, his curiosity piqued.
Lexi chuckled. "Oh, not too long. Just a few hours, I guess. I'm on the night shift, you see. You're the last student to arrive." She paused, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Quite the punctual one, aren't you?"
Lexi handed Ali a stack of documents to sign. As he flipped through the pages, he noticed a peculiar question: "Species." A small smile crept onto his face. He filled in "Human" without a second thought and handed the papers back to Lexi.
She placed the documents into a sleek, futuristic machine. "This will generate your schedule and pair you with a senior mentor," she explained. "Every first-year student is paired with a mentor from the second to sixth year to help them adjust to life at Horizon Academy."
The machine whirred to life, and a slip of paper printed out. Ali eagerly snatched it up and read the name: Butterbean. "A fairy?" he questioned, his eyebrows raised.
Lexi chuckled. "Yep, a fairy. You've been paired with Butterbean, a fourth-year student. Don't worry, most of our students are from various magical and technological worlds. Humans like you and me are a rare breed here at Horizon Academy."
She handed him another document, this one containing information about Butterbean. As Ali scanned the details, a sense of excitement and anticipation filled him. His adventure at Horizon Academy was just beginning.
Ali pushed open the door to the café, expecting to find it locked. To his surprise, the door swung open effortlessly. Exhausted from his late-night arrival, he decided to rest on one of the cozy chairs.
The next morning, Ali was jolted awake by a small, giggling figure hovering above him. A girl, no older than six, with blonde hair and a pair of delicate, pink wings adorned with tiny hearts, was staring at him with wide, curious eyes.
"Hi!" she chirped, her voice as sweet as honey.
Startled, Ali let out a loud scream, and both of them collided foreheads. As the initial shock wore off, he got a good look at the girl. Aside from the fairy wings, she seemed perfectly ordinary.
"I'm Cricket," she introduced herself, her smile as bright as the morning sun. "And you are?"
"Ali" He replied. As Ali regained his composure, he noticed a group of older teenagers, each more unique than the last. Some had pointed ears, others had glowing eyes, and a few even had tails. Just as he was about to ask a question, a voice interrupted his thoughts.
"Someone's awake!" A girl with dark skin, dressed in a purple dress and a pink apron, floated towards him. Her wings, a striking shade of purple, were adorned with sparkling pink stars.
"Are you Butterbean?" Ali asked, his voice filled with curiosity.
The girl chuckled. "Nope, I'm Dazzle, a fourth-year. Butterbean's still getting ready." She paused, her eyes twinkling. "Welcome to Horizon Academy, by the way."
Ali pointed at Cricket, his confusion evident. "Why is a little girl in a school for fourteen to nineteen-year-olds?"
Cricket giggled. "I'm just visiting. Are you looking for my older sister?"
Just as she finished her sentence, a girl with brown hair and a white chef's coat, adorned with blue buttons shaped like beans, entered the café. Her wings were a delicate shade of blue, sprinkled with tiny, iridescent sprinkles.
"Butterbean!" Cricket exclaimed, rushing towards the newcomer.
"Cricket, you're early," Butterbean replied, ruffling the younger girl's hair. She turned to Ali, a warm smile on her face. "You must be Ali. I'm Butterbean, your mentor."
