jaden knew avery knew he was lying he didnt want her to find out the truth about where he was staying, he thought he was protecting her but in reality he was hurting her more than protecting her.
he was getting in his car to spend the rest of the day with avery before she had to get on her flight with nessa to go back to her hometown.
when he finally got there avery was sitting on the couch. she had been depressed, sad, confused, and tired since jaden had disappeared, worrying about him for almost a week drained her of all of the energy she had left, and trying to figuring out where jaden was staying was also immensely draining her. she was beyond tired.
