Night time outside the fence

Step

Shuffling of boots could be heared from the gravel on the ground as thousands of soldiers marched towards the fence.
I stay put behind a tree nearby. Ive been following them since they started walking out of the hideout.
I had to get there before them, so i could at least try and evacuate as many people as i can.
The problem was... I didnt know where to go.
I still hadnt got my memory back. Just bits and pieces would appear in my mind and like a flash they would disappear again.
I follow the crowd of soldiers quietly, making sure to stay hidden in the woods nearby.
Suddenly the soldiers stop walking, probably receiving more orders.
I look at them, trying to make out faces i could recognize and that's when a headache hit me like a tidal wave. I whimper quietly, holding my head and sinking to my knees.

What was going on?

I try to ignore the pain after a while since i noticed that the soldiers started moving again, but the pain was just too strong and as soon i take a step forward, everything goes black.

3rd person

Eric makes his way towards his apartment, trying to process todays events.
His thoughts were swirling around in his head like bees in their nest.
All he could think about was Grace.
Scenarios of her death kept playing in his head and cold shivers would run down his spine as soon as she was actually killed.
He runs a hand through his already messed up hair, leaving trails of blood on his forehead.
His knuckles were busted again. He remembered how pissed she could get when he would bust open his knuckles and he couldn't help but feel an incredible painful sting in his heart at the memory.
He should feel sad, or depressed or angry, but he didnt...well yes he was angry and sad and depressed but there was one emotion that topped all of them.
Guilt.
He felt guilty for he hadnt noticed that Grace was gone.
Of all people he should have been able to notice. But he didnt. No one did. He let himself be blinded by love.
He sighs.
God knows how Grace must have felt this entire year probably hoping that he would come to her rescue.
He pushes open the door and slams it shut behind him. He walks up to the kitchen counter grabbing the bottle of whiskey and taking a swig out of it.
He didnt want to feel. He wanted to forget.
Forget she ever exsisted so that this pain would go away.
He doesnt turn around when he hears the front door open again.
Footsteps could be heard and then he feels small arms wrapping around his waist.
He tenses, struggling to keep his composure.
He closes his eyes and balls his hand into fists, resisting the urge to kill her right here right now.
"Ive missed you at training.", she whispers into his back, making him tense up even more.
"Is that so?", he asks through gritted teeth, still not turning around,"Kaitlyn."
Silence.
Her arms unwrap from his waist but she isnt fast enough for Eric had already spun around and slams her into the wall to his right.
His hand tightens around her neck cutting of the air supply. She claws at his fingers but doesnt manage to get free.
"How long do you think you could have gone through with this you filthy bitch?!", he growls dangerously,"Huh?!"
She gasps desperately for air and doesnt manage to answer.
"You are going to pay! Do you unterstand me, Bitch? You are going to pay!", he roars and tightens his grip on her even more.
She gasps again not managing to get away, but she doesnt even need to for one of her spies heard her struggle and barges through the apartnent door, managing to take Eric by surprise and knock him out cold.
Kailyn doubles over panting heavily.
"Miss? The others have been eliminated aswell, where should we take them now?", the spy asks firmly helping her up again.
"Erudite.", she pants,"I want them to watch the Divergents die. Take Stan out too. He'll just be in the way."
The spy nods, hauls Eric's unconcious body up and starts walking towards the door. He stops by Kaitlyn who had taken out the projector, and was now looking at Eric...hurt.
She brushes across his cheeks softly.
"I wished you could forget her.", she whispers before turning away and leading the way out of the compound.
The time had finally come.
