Fourty Four

Ariana's pov

"Be honest with me robby. You came here looking for Mattheo? Stopping at eli wasn't enough?"I ask we had spent several minutes in the hug because once the first tear came there were many more.

He doesn't say anything he just looks at me I scoff shaking my head. 

"Do you not realize what your doing? I don't even recognize you anymore Robby, you don't get to just do what you did and run back thinking I'll accept the apology. "I say he's looking at the picture frames on my desk. After Cass and I went through the box of pictures I framed a few I liked

"Mattheo crossed a line and whenever you want to accept it is up to you"he says picking one up

"This is exactly what I mean Robby"I say getting annoyed

"Was this from the Florida trip"he asked showing me the picture ignoring what I'm saying. I didn't even have to look to know he's talking about the picture of his arm around me kissing my head.

"Yeah"I say finally looking over to him but he's looking at the picture.

"You know you begged for me to go with you guys but the whole time your mom had already asked me"he says placing it back down on my desk

My phone lights up and I grab it

We're supposed to meet at the dojo soon

Soon as I can

"Was it him?"he asked looking at me

"Just go Robby I have to get to the dojo"I say getting up from my bed and grabbing my bag to put my stuff in

"Right"he says nodding his head

"Just an fyi I'm not training under your dad anymore. Him and LaRusso got into an argument"I say I see him relax a little

"Then why not just come to Cobra Kai?"he says grabbing my bag

"I'm not doing this right now"I say I guess I'm wearing what I have on. I push my way past him and head down the stairs

"Ariana wait"he says following me

"I've been trying to talk to you this whole time. You just won't listen"I say as I walk out the door and to my car

As soon as I pull into the dojo I see Mattheo talking to Demetri I unbuttoned my seatbelt and get out walking over to him I immediately wrap my arms around him trying not to cry

"Okay that's my que"dem says before walking away. T sways us side to side for a second rubbing my back

"What happened?"he asked nothing. Nothing happened. Just say nothing happened

"You can't get mad"I say. Damnit he scrunched his eyebrows looking at me

"I told Robby about the kiss"I say he lets out a sigh

"What did he do?"he asked

"He came to my house looking for you"I say he runs his hand through his hair

"He isn't going to fight before the tournament so I don't have to worry until then"he says trying to joke around it

"Ariana it's fine it was just a kiss and you guys were broken up and still are right?"he asked I nod

"Yeah T but he seriously didn't seem to care the other day"I say

"It's gonna be okay we can figure it out later" he says pulling my hand as he leads us to the back yard

Sam is practicing on the punching bag with Demetri and Cass is sitting on her phone I let go of T's hand and go sit by her nudging her arm

"Dude finally I thought you bailed"Cass says

"Hey, everyone, gather round. I have news"LaRusso says and we all stand up

"The all valley committee just announced big changes for the tournament."he says holding a paper

"What kind of changes?"sam asked

"Well, see for yourself. It's a whole new ball game."he says handing her the paper we all lean over her shoulder to try to see

"They're introducing skills competitions?"dem asked

"Yup."LaRusso says

"Kata, board breaking, weapons display?"dem says

"And There's gonna be a separate girls division. So that means"sam starts

"There'll be two all valley champs"LaRusso finishes

"What does that mean for the bet with cobra kai?"

"There's a grand champion trophy for whichever dojo wins the most points"LaRusso says

"We got the girls"sam says looking at me and Cass

"That just leaves the skills and the boys. I'm counting on you guys"he says

"Who? Us?"

"Yeah, we're a bunch of Rudy's. Sure, we're good for the occasional inspirational moment, but we're not exactly center mat material."dem explains

"We're much better off with Miguel and hawk"

"Yeah, or he who shall not be named. Rhymes with Dobby"dem says looking at the boys I roll my eyes

"Look, I know you're missing some of your friends. And of course I wish Robby was here"LaRusso says

I don't.

"But it's time to put the past behind us, all right? Don't worry. By the time the tournament comes around, you're gonna realize this was the best thing that could've happened to us"LaRusso says

We didn't spend much time at the dojo today as the guys were going to meet back later for more.

"I'm riding with her"Mattheo says as we walk to the cars

"T"I try to protest but he's already getting in the car. I walk around opening my door and get in I look over to him

"Can we at least smoke before you take me home"he asked I roll my eyes but a smile creeps on my face and I pull out of the lot

"Dad I'm home"I yell putting my keys on the table before we head up to my room

My heart races as I still see my bedroom light on under the door. I twist my doorknob and let out a breath as I open the door letting it out in relief when my room was empty

My body jolts as Mattheo places his hand on my shoulder I quickly force a smile as his face was worried

"Give me five and you'll feel better"he says walking over to my desk and grabbing my rolling tray and rolling up while I sit on the bed and scroll through Instagram seeing tori post about prom and Robby had replied something

"Ready?"mattheo asked I turn my phone off and look up to him nodding I stand up and we walk out to my patio

I hit it and pass it back to him and he smiled

"What?"I ask unlocking my phone and going to see what Robby had commented. Her caption being "watch and see" and his comment reading "prom?"

"Isn't prom tomorrow?"he asked I nod

"You going?"I ask taking in the smoke

"Depends"he says taking the joint from my hand. I raise an eyebrow

"Oh on what?"I ask

"Well I haven't asked you yet"he said I immediately cringe

"Mattheo"I say with a laugh but he looks serious

"Oh"I say he tucks his lips together leaning back in his seat a little

"I mean I don't see why not"I say

"Wait seriously? What about Cass?"he asked handing the joint back to me trying not to smile

"T she won't care"I say with a smile

"Looks like I need a tux"he says
