Ariana's pov

I pull into the LaRusso's and head out back where Robby and Mr. LaRusso are talking.

"You got room for one more?"I hear the sweet girls voice and look to the smiling LaRusso as she walks outside

"Yeah"Mr.LaRusso says

"The place looks great. I mean, the house has been painted and the deck's been sanded. Does that mean I'm off the hook?"she asked I give her a smile

"Uh, no. We're gonna find something for you to do get on over here."he says with a laugh as he hugs his daughter.

"All right. Not even open 24 hours and I've already tripled my roster. I've got a good feeling about this. All right, you guys should go get some rest. Because this summer, your gonna be spending a lot of time back here together."LaRusso says robby and Sam share a smile

"Goodnight mr. LaRusso. See you at school sam"I say as we leave

I buckle my seat belt and look at robby with a grin.

"What?"he asked concerned

"So she's why you wanted me to talk to Miguel huh? So you can move in on his girl"I say it kinda stung to say it out loud

"What? No Ariana"he says immediately denying it

"Are you delusional Robby Keene you were about drooling on the poor girl"I say pushing his shoulder playfully.

"I did not"he says

"But your not denying the fact you like her"I say raising an eyebrow

"I just barely met the girl and your trying to shove me into a relationship"he says

"Not shove, slightly push"I say with a laugh but it slowly faded

"Woah slow down hot shot you alright?"I ask as Robby repeatedly hits the punching bag. He looks at me and sighs

"It's mom. She met a new guy and he is apparently taking her to Cabo and I don't even know if the rents gonna get paid or if she's coming back"he stresses

"You can crash at my place until you figure it out okay?"I say wrapping him into a hug

"I don't want to be a burden on you and your dad"he says

"No you are never a burden on us or anyone my dad loves when you come over gives him someone to talk to"I say with a smile

"Okay"he says Going back to punching the bag

"Look miguel I-" Sam says coming outside Robby stops and looks at her

"I can't talk right now. Can you just tell aisha to call me back?"she says hanging up putting her bag down next to me as I lace up my shoes

"I thought it was aisha"she says

"You can talk to whoever you want"Robby says

"Hey, guys. All right perfect attendance on day one"LaRusso says

"So, what's our first lesson?"sam asked

"You'll see. Follow me"LaRusso says I stand up dusting myself off and we follow him

He grabs a bag of sand and starts pouring it into a circle

"If we're gonna play in sand, can't we go to the beach?"sam asks with a smile

"No, not today."LaRusso says

"It's been a long time since this dojo's had more than one student, and you figure out, with two people, you have twice the defense right?"He continues

"Well I'm just not here then"I say under my breath

"Wrong. One of the cornerstones of miyagi-do karate is always moving in a circle and with the wheel technique, you'll soon see that two people can be as strong as 20. Now are you ready?"Larusso says

"Yes Mr. LaRusso" Robby says

"Let's do this."sam says

"I guess so"I say

"All right get in the circle"LaRusso says and we walk into the circle

"This is kinda awkward maybe four people"I say looking at the two

"I'll just sit this one out"I say walking out of the circle and going to stand out

"Umm no get back in"LaRusso says I groan and join them in the circle across from mr. LaRusso he makes us bow.

We cross our arms over our chest then bring them by our hips then up and out slapping our hands together punching out then up and the same on the other arm

"Nice. Now show me the wheel."LaRusso says as we turn

"No. No, no, no. You have to be perfectly in sync or this technique doesn't work."He says

"Technique? This feels more like a dance"Robby says

"Yeah at what point do we do the hokey pokey and turn ourselves around?"sam jokes

"Ok, guys, trust me. You guys Master this, no ones gonna mess with you. Come on let's try it again."LaRusso says we all move back into our spots Rerunning our moves

"And down, sam, left arm up. No, no together at the same time."LaRusso says

"How are we supposed to when we can't see each other?"Robby says I nod

"You need to sense what your partner is doing, even if you can't see them." LaRusso says

"How exactly are we supposed to do that? The force?" Sam asked when LaRussos phone dings

"Shoot, I gotta go help your mom out with something. Just. Just feel it, all right? I'll be back as soon as I can."LaRusso says we get back into our spots in the circle and retry it

Ariana's pov

I turn over after my phone dings seeing who messaged me

Roberto- can I come over? Mom didn't pay the electric bill and there's nothing to eat
A-of course. You want a grilled cheese?
Roberto-please

I roll out of bed and head down the kitchen seeing dad eating mac and cheese watching whatever's on the tv

"Hey pea"he says catching my attention

"Hey"I say grabbing a pan out from the cabinet

"Whatcha doin?"he asked

"Robby's coming over"I say opening another cabinet and getting the bread

"Ooohhh grilled cheese"he says I smile

"You want one too?"I ask he nods I get the cheese and toast the bread

There's a knock and dad yells it's open and Robby opened it setting his skateboard down and taking off his shoes before walking into the kitchen and opening the fridge

"You want anything else? I can order in"I say

"I'm okay"robby says

"I'll take a strawberry smoothie"dad yells from the couch I roll my eyes with a laugh and look at robby

"I'll take one of those"he says I sigh getting out the blender

"Here"I say placing the plates and smoothies in front of them flopping down on the couch beside Robby

"This taste just like when your mom made them after we used to go to the park"Robby says nudging my shoulder I give him a smile

"I tried my best"I say

"I'm gonna head to bed I've gotta work in the morning"my dad says I nod giving him a hug before he leaves us

I take the dishes to the kitchen and rinse them off before putting them in the dish washer

I open my door and Robby is almost asleep on my bed

"Hey goof"I say flopping down next to him and getting comfy
