George sat in a field full of flowers. His hands stabilized him on the ground. They were wrapped with bandages. George got up and made his way to a pond. He observed himself in the pond's reflection. His white googles sat upon the bridge of his nose like they had always done. He wore a blue collar pullover upon a dress shirt and his shoulders were covered with a king's cape, the fur going everywhere. His chocolate brown hair draped over his face, a face that had begun to cover up with fungus and vines. Upon his head, sat a large mushroom.
George tried to remember how he got here, where he was, but when he wracked his brain, it was full of static. George sat down once again and curled into a ball. A light came from behind him, a light he dreaded so much.
"Ahh! There you are!" The voice came from behind him. He looked up at the man. A white face surrounded by two golden rings looked back at him. A lime green cloak lined with black draped his shoulders and an ended pearl, green, black and vigorous, fastened the cloak. White, angelic wings protruded from his back and from the sides of his head. He reached an arm out to George. He gripped it and stood up.
"DreamXD," George greeted.
"Haha! Do you want to collect some mushrooms, Georgie?" George flinched at the booming voice. Not because it boomed, but it sounded all too familiar.
"S-sure,"
DreamXD floated up and led George to a forest. The lush trees dangled on him and branches twisted around others. Water dripped from a few leaves. Every now and then, DreamXD would pick a mushroom, twist it around his fingers, and pop it in the basket. Every so and so, he would smile at George and George would return a weak smile. This time, George had some business to take care off.
"XD, where am I from?" George asked.
"Earth!" DreamXD giggled, a frown on his face showed as he surely knew where the conversation would lead.
"Why can't I remember anything?"
"Why can't we just focus on now?!"
"BECAUSE XD-" the all too familiar curtain of sleepiness loomed over George. Most of the time, George would give up to this feeling, letting his eyelids get heavy before drifting to the would of slumber, but not today.
"XD! Why do you put me to sleep every time I ask you questions about myself?!"
"George, that's not me! That's you!" DreamXD nervously chuckled.
"XD, what have you done to me!?" George leaped on the white, floating being and put his fingers around his neck. He squeezed it but the being portrayed no emotion. George felt an even stronger force of sleepiness, he fought it, he tried. Eventually, he fell to the ground, hot tears leaking out of his and he fell to the being again.
He woke up in a field of flowers again, this time he ran straight to the lake. DreamXD followed, afraid of what he would do. George clutched to a sharp stone and put it straight through his heart. DreamXD looked at the immobile body in fear before he lifted his fingers and snapped them again.
"Not today, George." Magic reaped from the ground and lifted the corpse.
DreamXD smiled an unpleasant smile.
