I took a step back, then took a good look around at my hard work, admiring it. I just moved into a new house, a new town, and I already feel this place would make a great home for me. The living room looks perfect, and I had just finished setting up the solid black coffee table. I love how it brings out the white couch!
The living room was more medium size, but it looked really good. I would say amazing. I hung up some pictures of my cat, some with me and my cat, along with one with my snake on my cat's head. My cat was a gray Maine coon, and my snake was a corn snake. My snake was named Ramen, and my cat was Smoky, both very cute. My lovely children.
Speaking of Smoky, her cat tree was right in the left corner, along with a few of her adorable toys. The walls were more cream colored, and the floorboards were a dark oak color. I put a dark gray rug under the couch and coffee table. Lastly, on the wall has a 75 inch flatscreen TV to top it all off. Of course a big drawer below the window next to the door for extra storage.
I sighed, flopping down the couch, then pushing my fluffy short dark brown, with pastel pink steaks, hair out of my face as I relaxed on my new couch. Some people say I look like the male version of Rose Quartz from Steven Universe, which is an honor, she's very pretty. There's a reason I went back to just streaks and not my full hair pink.
I suddenly hear a soft purring noise as Smoky jumps up on the couch, laying on my chest. I pet her soft gray fur as she lets out a few purrs and stretches. I smile at her as she looks at me with her big brown eyes. She's so cute. My baby.
I looked up at the ceiling, I'm pretty bored now that I finished everything that I had to do. I finished my bedroom, the guest room, kitchen, bathroom, living room, and even the backyard. There's nothing left to do, and I'm about to die of boredom any minute.
Hmm... While I was driving here I saw a coffee shop not too far from here, maybe I could drive there. I do love coffee.
I sighted, stretching while letting out a yawn, Smoky jumping off me with a soft meow. I got up off of my couch, standing up and looking around one last time. I did an amazing job, Good job Sage. I then started walking over to my hallway, even more pictures were hung here, but these were different. These were paintings, my moms paintings.
Me and my mom are very close. Were. We were very close.
I miss her, she died from a car crash a few years back when I was 17. I'm 20 now, so its been 3 years since I last saw her. She loved to paint, it was her passion.
One of the paintings was a night sky, pitch black pine trees all over with a nice calm looking river. A wolf was by the river, looking at the full moon. Wolves were her favorite. Its my favorite one she has made, it looks so calm and relaxing, it was her most recent one before she had passed. I even helped her frame it.
I walked past my guest room and bathroom, opening the door into my room and stepping in, a cute Hello Kitty poster was hung on the front of my bedroom door, one my little sister gave me. I never really watched Hello Kitty but the characters are cute and she loves them. She's 16, and loves Hello Kitty like its all she knows, her room is filled with Hello Kitty shit.
I close my door so Smoky doesn't get in, as I don't want her to see her father getting changed. My bedroom is pretty simple, as I like to be neat. I had a queen sized bed with dark gray covers, along with a black bedframe. My pillows where a lighter shade of gray, and a black cat plushie was sitting next to my pillow.
I have a plushie problem, explaining the pile of cute plushies in the corner of my room, that is next to the small desk where Ramens cage is. He's hiding right now, in his little log hide. Such a cutie. The desk and pile of plushies where on the right side, my bed is in the middle of my room against the wall.
