Chapter 5: Preparations for the Departure. Clothes Shopping

Satori:"And you can get to praise us after seeing us swim too, sounds good right?"

Koishi:"Yeah! Swim-!..w-wait we swim on the beach!?" Asked Koishi with a surprised expression, me and Satori turning to her

Y/N:"Yeah, we swim on the beach, and we build sand castles too- wait a second..."

Koishi seemed nervous as i kept on going on what the beach had in store, as if she was troubled by something out of a sudden. After some seconds, i finally understood what was going on

Y/N:"Koishi...you do know how to swim right?" In response, she only looked away with a silly smile on her face

Satori:"That's a no"

I sighed, turning to my phone and looking at the time and date we were in. The sun had set already so now was time to get ready for sleep, and tomorrow was going to be Thursday so we had one more day to prepare for the beach, we hadn't gotten the three any kind of clothes for the beach yet so some time would do good, after all

Y/N:"I'll teach you to swim then Koi, not a problem" I said smiling at her as i placed the phone down, getting Koishi to look at me with wonder and excitement

Koishi:"You'll teach me, 'nii-chan?" Asked with a curious tone the now excited youkai, tilting her head in place

Y/N:"I mean yeah, it's my job right? But we should get you three clothes tomorrow so you're ready for the beach"

Satori:"We don't have much clothes besides these ones after all, that could do to get some food and all that"

Maribel:"Yeah! Beach!" Maribel shouted peeking her head from the corner of the stairs, raising her arm in excitement

Koishi:"WAH!?" Koishi fell backwards after being startled, however neither me nor Satori were startled by her appearance

Satori:"When did she get in?"

Renko:"Y/N left the key to the window outside, so we used it" Renko peeked behind Maribel, answering the doubt

Y/N:"Window key? I don't remember having one-"

Renko showed a rock in her hand, shaking it to draw my attention

Y/N:"*sighs* of course..."

Timeskip

In the next day, me and the others went to the store in a mall to get their swimsuits for our travel tomorrow-

Maribel:"So many choices, which should i get Ren-Ren!?" Happily exclaimed Maribel staring at the variety of swimsuits she could choose from

Renko:"Any you feel will fit you, Merry"

Ah yeah, we brought them with us after they insisted last night, thought it could be good for them to choose as well since it wouldn't be that bad to get more company for the beach

Renko:"Good thing you let us go with you, that way you wont have to enter the woman's clothing shop with the other three and be mistaken for a perv!" Said the brown haired placing a hand around my neck, staring at the kid youkai as they explored through the variety of swimming clothes

Y/N:"Yeah, happened once when i did a favor for Jane, and i can say i'm not doing that again even if she pays me again..."

...

Y/N:"Wait a moment, she still owes me for that time!"

Renko:"You can get payback later, for now we need to look after the girls there" She pointed at Maribel and the wandering youkai, all of them on the distance sharing their clothes and opinions

Y/N:"I'm sure Maribel can handle herself right? She's not a kid" I said looking over to them

Renko:"Fifty-fifty, i still look after her to make sure she wont get in any kind of trouble, might be grown up but you can't be sure with a girl who travels from one dimension to another"

Y/N:"She what-?"

Renko:"Long story"

Koishi noticed our gaze and waved at me, smiling as brightly as ever while i returned the waving

Y/N:"Tell me at the beach, we should have plenty of time there"

Renko:"You got it"

She unwrapped her arm from my neck, standing straight following my gaze inside the clothes store

Renko:"Don't stare too much, or you'll seem like a pervert looking at women and their clothes"

Y/N:"I wasn't doing anything of that sort, looking after my little sisters is a normal thing..." Though, not too sure if i could call them little sisters with the pretty recent actions from their part

Renko:"Right right, older siblings are admirable...i say that for me since i'm pretty much Merry's older sister!" A light chuckle followed her words, i could see what she meant by the behavior of the two- though they were as silly as one another, like yesterday night when they-...nevermind

It took them a while to finally get out of the store, walking up to us with a few bags of clothes in their hands

Koishi:"We did it, got cute swimsuits for ourselves!" Happily said Koishi lifting her arms up in the air

Y/N:"Say, how did you pay for that? I didn't give you money-"

As soon as i said that, an alarm went off inside the shop getting us to turn at the four as they stared into the red light glowing from inside the shop

Maribel:"Now i'll teach you the next part of the plan, ready? Just like i told you" The girls all got in a running position turning their gazes to the entrance of the mall

Maribel, Koishi, Satori & Kokoro:"NIGERUNDAYOOO!" The four shouted- except for Kokoro who neutrally shouted -as they ran off at full speed with the bags

Renko facepalmed upon seeing them flee in the distance, i stared as one of the guards ran behind the quartet with haste

Renko:"Now you see what i meant..?"

Y/N:"Being an older sibling is a hard task huh..."

Renko:"She taught your sisters how to steal too, shouldn't we do something?" She looked up again, looking into the entrance of the mall

Y/N:"Nah, i trust Satori's got them, and Kokoro knows her way home..."

...

Y/N:"Want to head to the arcade and see who wins scoring the most points in every game?"

Renko:"The loser pays for the ice cream on the way home"

Y/N & Renko:"Bet!"
