Grandparents

Like what I'm expecting. Kuya faced drop at nakakatawa ang reaksyon niya. Napa-iling ako dahil sa reaksyon niya sa sinabi ng anak ko.

"He can be your inspiration pero wag ka sanang maging kagaya niya na tinakbuhan ang responsibilidad."

Napakunot ang noo ng anak ko. Sasapukin ko pa sana si Kuya nang may sumapok na sa kanya. We look at Jacques at may hawak ito na wine.

"Yong bibig mo Zandrick pasmado tangina ka." Seryoso nitong sabi.

Jacques look at me at kay Zamiel bago magsalita.

"You're mom and dad looking for you at the second floor. Isama mo si Zamiel they dying to meet him."

Ito na naman. Kinakabahan na naman ako sa mangyayari. Kahit kabado ay sumunod kami ni Zamiel sa sinabi niya. Some of visitors looking at me with a shock face lalo na sa kasama ko.

Binilinan ko nalang ang paglalakad hawak hawak pa din ang kamay ng anak ko. Umakyat na kami sa hagdan papuntang second floor. Nakasalubong pa namin ang mga familiar faces na nagtra-trabaho sa mansion noong nandito pa ako.

They just look at me with a sad face while others was so happy to see me.

At the second floor, in the balcony. I saw a two figure facing their backs on us. Hinigpitan ko ang paghawak sa anak ko at naglakad papunta sa kanila.

They both hugging each other while looking at the sky. A small smile painted on my lips but it didn't last long. I cleared my throat to catch their attention.

Sabay silang napalingon sa amin. Bakas ang gulat sa mukha nilang dalawa. Magsasalita Sana ako nang tumakbo si Mommy papunta sa akin at niyakap ako. She cried while hugging me.

"Baby, I'm so sorry, sorry sorry please forgive us." Mom said while crying on my shoulder.

I didn't know what to do kaya napayakap nalang din ako. She's crying hard I look at Daddy at pinipigilan nitong umiyak. He look away then cry to.

Nang makawala ako sa yakap ni Mommy at hinawakan niya ang mukha ko. Umiyak siya ulit.

"You've grown up so well, baby." She kissed my both cheeks.

"Ah thank you po." Both of them kept looking at me until they notice someone at my back.

I pull Zamiel and look at my parents. They are waiting for me to introduce Zamiel to them.

"Mom, Dad, this is my son. Son, this is your grandparents."

Zamiel look at them and smile. Nag-mano pa siya sa kanila. Aw ang sweet ng anak ko.

"H-hey kid, I'm your grandfather. W-whats your name?" I giggled softly when I heard Dad stuttering.

"My name is Zandro Miguel Cuevas and I'm turning 11. Nice to meet you Lolo at Lola."

Zamiel smiled at them. My mom hold her chest tapos napatakip ng bibig. She hugged Zamiel ganun din si Daddy. They keep asking Zamiel if he's okay , he want anything but my son just shook his head.

"My Nanay is everything I want po, Lolo and Lola. Okay na po ako na anjan si Nanay." Nakangiting sagot ni Zamiel.

Mom and Dad look at into each other tapos sa akin. I don't know but Mom reach for my hand.

"Pinalaki mo siya nang maayos, hija and I'm so happy about it. Hindi ka man lang nagtanim ng galit sa amin ng daddy mo after what we've done to you."

I laugh then smile. "Never po ako magtatanim ng galit sa inyo."

Umupo kami sa balkonahe at panay ang tanong ni Mom at Dad kay Zamiel. Dad was so amazed of how Zamiel answered him boldly. He even said Zamiel can be his heir since Kuya have his own company.

We've been talking hour now dahil ayaw ni mommy na humiwalay sa amin. She even invited us to spend one night on the mansion dahil tinanggihan ko ang tumors ulit dito.

Everything is running smooth when a woman came up to us.

"Excuse me, Madame. The Rivero's was already here. Hinahanap ho kayo."

With that, my mood dropped on the cold floor. This can't be happening. Santino and his family was here! I look at Zamiel and he's smiling widely.

"Nay andito siguro si Tatay."

My eyes got widen from what I've heard. Pati si Mom and Dad nakakunot ang noo sa sinabi ni Zamiel.

"A-anong sinabi mo anak? T-tatay?"

Kabadong tanong ko. He just nod then answer me happily.

"Madaming nagsasabi na magkamukha kami so I called him Tatay. Bakit nay? Masama po ba?"

Muntik na akong himatayin dahil sa narinig ko.
