Chapter 2

I woke up the next morning but I didnt hear my alarm, I thought that I had woken up early so I checked the time on my phone. Fuck. I'm late. I quickly got out of bed and put on a hoodie with sweatpants. Hair was looking like a mess but i had already lost first period so i didnt really care. I started running to school and when I got there i was sweaty. I figured that everyone might've gone to the backyard so I started heading to my classroom so I could leave my backpack there.

I opened the door of my class when someone else also opened it from inside the class. Daron. Now it was really a time when I didn't even want to look at his stupid face. "Watch where you're going." He said. I just entered the room without responding cause really I didn't give a flying fuck about daron. I left my backpack and went to look for F/N.

I found her on the backyard sitting alone while being on her phone. "Damn you really are lonely" I said looking at her and then sitting next to her. "Where have you been?" She said laughing. "Well uh I might've or might've not overslept...again. I responded while laughing nervously. "Jesus" She responded while looking away smiling. "So anyway, did I miss something?" I asked F/N. "Well yeah, two things, firstly your favourite boys are having a concert again this Friday..." I rolled my eyes to the thought of that "... And second, well, Shavo is having this party at his house for the whole weekend and people can even sleep over after if they want to" She said. "Well why does it concern me? I'm not invited" I said confused. "Yeah well... he kinda has invited the whole school." She responded. "The whole school?" I paused, "Are you planning to go?" I asked her. "Well... you never know, something might happen with Serj." She said laughing nervously. I laughed it off and rolled my eyes after.

*Bell rings*

I stood up and started walking to my class. Chemistry class, the only class I hate because I get to see Daron's stupid face. I was the first one to walk in the class. Good. I get to go on my phone for a bit before the lesson starts. Then the second person walked in, of course it had to be Daron. "You look homeless" he said after giving me a weird look. "It's ironic how you would say that" I responded without even looking up. "Look at me in the eyes and repeat what you said" he said. I froze, but I managed to turn my head to look at him, straight in the eyes.
Why do I feel like this. Words couldn't come out of my mouth, why. "Yeah that's what I thought" Daron responded. I then looked away. Why was that so hard for me? I hate Daron. I hate the way he speaks, the way he does literally anything.

A few minutes passed and the rest of the students came. I couldn't keep my eyes off Daron. But why. Fuck. Hope he doesn't notice me. I started focusing on the lesson again. Then I felt a small piece of paper hitting my head. I picked it up and something was written on it. "Like what you see?" I froze again and looked at daron's direction. His chair was leaning back and he had his hands behind his head and he was looking at me. I immediately looked away. I was embarassed. Fuck why am I feeling like this.

I heard the bell ringing and I stood up to go look for F/N. She was waiting for me outside of the class so i didn't have to search the whole school again. We started walking towards the yard while talking. "Serj was looking at me all the time during the lesson, can you believe it?" F/N said excited. "Oh wow that's great" I said zoned out. "Y/N you didnt even listen to me" F/N said angrily. "Yeah.. sure. Uh wait what?" I snapped back to reality. "What are you even thinking about?" F/N asked. "Huh? Nothing" I responded. "Mhm sure, anyway did you make up your mind about the party?" F/N asked. "Yeah, I don't think it would be a bad idea if we went, how bad can it be anyway?" I said smiling. "What made you change your mind?" F/N asked me in a suspicious look. "Nothing? I just think it'll be fun since I wouldn't be doing anything better this weekend" I responded. "Fair enough" F/N responded.

The rest of the day was normal, Me and F/N were together chatting about what we were going to wear at the party and all of that. Although me and Daron made several eye contacts the rest of the day was I guess you could say fine.

I was on my way home wearing my headphones and listening to music when I saw daron on the opposite sidewalk. I don't think he noticed me he had his eyes down on the road. I started walking faster since I didn't want to interact with him in any way. Finally, I was home I got my keys and I put the key in the keyhole but then I saw daron again, "I thought I had lost him" I thought to myself. "Gosh this is so stupid" I whispered to myself and then I started following him. I kept on walking behind him for like 2 minutes when we reached the back side of his house. "Oh so I just followed him for nothing" I thought. Then Daron sat down, took a book out and placed it in between his legs. "What is he doing..." I was so confused. Then it hit me. "Oh please please don't let it be drugs" I thought. Daron pulled out a bag of cocaine and just emptied it on top of the books and used his notebooks to straighten up the lines. I turned around, I couldn't witness this. I closed my eyes in shock and heard a huge sniff and him exhaling after. I couldn't stay there so I just ran out of there, I hope he didn't notice me.

I quickly put the key in the font door keyhole and entered the house. I then sat down and started thinking about what I had just saw. "No no no please no, this can't be real" i palmed myself. Daron and I had made a promise when we were kids, that none of us would do such things. He really did forget about it. Wow. I just sat there for 5 more minutes thinking about all this coming to the conclusion that as long as we're friends anymore it shouldn't matter (even though it still didn't sit right with me.)

I saw a note on the fridge that said "Y/n you didn't come home early and I had to go to work so I didn't get to see you, there's food on the fridge, I'll see you tonight, Love you Mom" . I wasn't hungry so I just went to my room to call F/N to tell her about what I saw. "Hello?" F/N answered the phone. "Dude you won't believe what I saw" I responded. "What happened? You sound disturbed." F/N said. "Before I begin, I don't want any questions on why I followed that specific person I followed" I took a deep breath. "Okay so uh... I followed Daron to the back of his house without him knowing and I saw him doing drugs." There was a pause. "Hello? F/N? You there?" I called out to her. "what the FUCK" she responded. "Dude I don't know! I just saw him placing cocaine on his book and then heard him sniffing it." I said in a nervous voice. "Wow... uh I mean that's really uh something but why are you concerned about it?" F/N said. "What? I'm not concerned, I'm just telling you about it." I responded. "Yeah ok whatever, I have to go anyway, I'll see you tomorrow at school bye" F/N said. "Kay see ya". I hung up.

I laid on my bed thinking about today, such mixed up feelings about today. I just kept staring at the ceiling when I decided to take a nap so I could get my mind off things, and that's what I did. God I hope tomorrow is better.
