"I want to rid this world of vampires." He started, "After the sudden rise of them, I've come to find out how much of a danger they can be and plan to destroy every last one of them." The vampire huffed at the memory of the boy that felt like a younger brother to him, being taken away from him. It shook the teen to his core pondering over what could have happened if he was too late. Or possibly Lucian had succeeded and obtained his heart. "I need to start this right away but without your help, I don't think I'll be able to succeed in time."

"It seems we see things through the same view. The only reason I even began working in the task force was to turn things normal again." The detective grinned, "So you need information on vampires, is that it?" She placed a hand above her hip, looking upwards in deep thought. "Well, that's a tall order."

Y/n huffed in annoyance, of course, she wouldn't be willing to lend him a hand. It was too much to ask for, he was a vampire asking a detective who hunts things like him down for a living.

"I'll help you out."

The pureblood's breath jammed itself in his throat at her reply. For once in his life, someone actually wanted to help with something so large.

"But I want to make one thing clear, you're the one who's gonna be helping me out. Not the other way around got it?" The detective said sternly, giving Y/n a look that reeked of power. "Because taking down vampires is my responsibility."

Y/n watched as the woman began walking away with a sense of pride in her step. He was snapped out of his trance when he remembered something. "Wait!"

"Huh?" She swung her head back around to face him, raising an eyebrow at the taller male.

"Sorry, I just realized I don't know your name." The vampire said. He dipped his chin down in embarrassment and to slightly hide his pinkened cheeks from the detective.

"Its Detective Euntea Hwang."

Removing the kittens that clung to his shoe, Y/n slipped them on before taking his leave. "Taichi I'm heading off to meet with Jiwoo before school!" He shouted into his living room. the vampire turned to open the door but stopped himself when he heard the pattering of feet against the hard floor.

"Are you not dropping me off at school today?"

The teenager's heart clenched at the sight of the young child. Reaching down to ruffle his hair, the pureblood chucked. "I think you'll be fine going by yourself considering --ya'know." He gestured to himself and then to Taichi making a swiping motion with a flexed hand. Y/n smiled down at the giggling boy. Saying their goodbyes, he set off toward his meeting spot with Jiwoo.

The vampire took the time that it took to reach Jiwoo to think over his next plans to reach his ultimate goal. There was no knowing how many angles of death there are at this rate though he hoped that Detective Hwang could provide him the information he so desperately sought out. It was a guarantee however that they were watching his every move--preparing to strike at any given moment when his guard is let down.

Without realizing it, Y/n had arrived at Jiwoo's location. His eyes caught on Subin, the girl from yesterday as he approached from behind Jiwoo. "You again?" The vampire questioned.

"Oh, there was no need to call you here--" Subin began but ultimately cut herself off when she registered who had joined them. "Huh? You're not Wooin."

"Y/n!" Jiwoo abruptly shouted, joyful at the arrival of his friend.

"Don't tell me she's starting up something again," Y/n stated, giving the girl an unamused look whilst glancing over at Jiwoo. This girl was beginning to royally piss off the pureblood with all this shit she kept pulling on the small friend group. "Listen, I don't think moping about and starting arguments is gonna get you anywhere. So how about you just go on your way and--"

"Are you threatening Jiwoo because you have business with me?"

All three teenagers looked in the direction the sudden voice came from to see the one and only Wooin standing mere feet away from them.

"Wooin!" Jiwoo shouted once again, copying the moment he had with Y/n.

"Threaten...well, I did threaten him," Subin muttered.

"Like I told you yesterday, if you have business with me, talk to me." The black-haired bow firmly stated, glowering at the girl.

"Why are you even here?" The pureblood asked, getting closer to her than before. He glared down at her, pissed off that she was continuously starting things. He didn't miss the slight change in her expression when he leaned closer in a way to intimidate her. The vampire inwardly scoffed at this.

"I-it's nothing. I just wanted to see for myself..." Subin trailed off, composing herself. "Whether you're worth it for Mr. Park to break the Union's rule."

"And why should I do as you say?" Wooin questioned.

"Well, because it'd be best for you? Oh, keep in mind...don't try to get out of this" Subin said while beginning to glare at the three boys. If you do it'll be your friend's turn."

Y/n clenched his fist in anger. He went over multiple scenarios in his head in which he would beat down Subin himself, though none of which would turn out in his favor. He felt a sudden surge of energy to his right and swiveled his head around to get a look at the boy standing beside him. Wooin had activated his awakened power in an open hand and begun gathering the energy.

The vampire shared a concerned glance with Jiwoo just as Subin powered up her own awakened powers. Y/n instinctively stepped between the two, raising an arm to hold Wooin's shoulder back.

"You guys can't be serious right now. Starting a fight in a public place?"

The girl scoffed at the h/c haired teen. "Listen whatever your name is, I have every right to fight him. Don't include yourself in this unless you want to get beat!"

"Don't you have some image to keep up? Aren't you the granddaughter of the Union's leader or something? I mean, I don't think I really have much to say in this but, don't you think it would look bad on your name if you were fighting an unaffiliated awakened in public?" Y/n snarkily reasoned, smirking as he watched the girl's face falter every so slightly.

"...You two want to spar with each other here?"

At Shinwa, Subin and Y/n stood in front of Jiyoungs desk as she looked at the two questionably. The vampire couldn't pass up the opportunity to hit Subin so of course he took it while he could. Though Jiwoo and Wooin weren't all that fond of the idea, Y/n shrugged them off.

Subin however was extremely agitated that she wasn't going to spar with Wooin. Though just like Y/n, she too couldn't pass this opportunity up after all the shit he's been spewing.

"Yes," Y/n replied to Jiyoung, bowing his head slightly. He subtly averted his gaze from Jiyoung to Jiwoo who stood with Wooin next to him. Jiwoo had a proud smile on his face, after all, it had been his idea to bring them to Shinwa to settle their fight.

The six sitting in Jiyoung's office were suddenly startled by the door being slammed open. they however weren't at all surprised when they caught sight of the white-haired teen that had done it. Jisuk giddily skipped into the room.

"So Subin and Y/n are having a fight?!" He shouted into the room. "It's gonna be fucking fun!"

"Why?"
