14 | the "date"

The day had finally came, the day we had scheduled for lunch. Kayla's words about this after I told her were.. interesting. She asked for every detail afterwards, very kayla like. She's like the "romance counselor" or something judging by how many people shes set up. Anyway enough about her, i didn't know what to wear, casual? cute? cute AND causal? I was probably overthinking this, but I wanted it to be perfect. I had realized that I really liked techno and I think we would be good together.

I got out of bed and went into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth and hair. I had soft curls in my hair. I decided on a navy tank and a denim miniskirt. I put my converse on and a necklace that techno had gotten me a while ago. Putting on a small purse, I looked in the mirror before I heard a knock on my door that I could recognize from the pattern.

"Come in!"

Techno opened my door, eyeing my body as I smiled.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked, looking back to my eyes.

I nodded and turned off my light, following him out my door. We walked downstairs, meeting sapnap. I gave him a small wave which he returned with a smirk as we walked out to the car.

"So where are we going?" I asked whilst buckling my seatbelt.

"You'll see." He gave me a wide smile.

We pulled in the parking lot of a Chinese restaurant that had flowers outside of it. We walked inside and it had beautiful scenery. The walls were dark red, paintings filling the walls. The tables had nice designs on them along with the counter.
A waiter came to greet us and led us to a table where we ordered.

"This place looks really nice, I've never been here before." I spoke, still looking around at the place.

He gave me a warm smile. "I know, they have amazing food too."

We finished our food and now we're sitting in the car. This date wasn't bad at all, I was just overthinking everything. Techno started driving off, but I quickly noticed that we weren't going home. He pulled into a beach, but I had no idea that we were going anywhere else but food.

Techno noticed the curiosity on my face,"I thought we could come here too, but if you don't want to then I understand."

I quickly shook my head. "It's alright, I love the beach." We got out of the car and started walking to the shore.

"Listen, y/n... I know that things may be awkward between us, there's still a lot of tension from the other morning. I don't want us to be awkward." He spoke up.

"I know, and I don't want us to be like that either."

"I thought that you wouldn't, that's why I wanted to talk about it. I hope that we can look past it."

I silently agreed with him.

"I'll beat you over there." He gave me a wide smile.
I took off running, beating him to the shore.
"You had a head start!" He chuckled.

We had a fun time at the beach, walking around and talking, drawing in the sand, and watching the sunset together. We took tons of pictures.

As we stood on the dock watching the sunset, he turned to me.

"I really enjoyed today, thank you." I smiled at him. He nodded at me, taking a small step towards me and grabbing my hand.

"Of course." He leaned in closer.

I found myself involuntarily leaning in to him, connecting our lips together as I laid my other hand on his shoulder. It lasted for a few seconds before we both pulled back.

After a few seconds, he spoke up. "Are you ready to go home?"

I nodded and we held hands as we walked back to the car.

Did I really just kiss him? What if he didn't want to? He was leaning in too, but what if it was for something else? I started overthinking again. What if he didn't like kissing me?

We got inside the car and he held my hand as we drove home.

We pulled in the driveway and I got out of the car. He followed behind me and stopped me from opening the front door. I turned to him. "Yeah?"

"Before we go in, I just wanted to do this again." He then gave me a soft smile, leaned forward and gave me another kiss.

When we parted I gave him a wide smile before hugging him and opening the door, going upstairs to my room. Everyone else was in their rooms, I don't think they're asleep though.

I opened my phone and texted Kayla.

We kissed.

Hey everyone! I know it's been awhile since I've updated but I've been wanting to write a new book but I decided on updating old ones. It might be awhile for me to finish this because I don't like y/n books and this is like 3 years old, soooo...

I might go back a few chapters and change some things I also changed stuff in this chapter although I posted it last night I didn't like how I wrote it and I still don't honestly but if you want to, you can reread the chapters I update it's probably not going to be anything big
