Alone, but not alone anymore

Chapter Twenty Two

"Wait, I'm waring a dress. People are going to look up." He looks at me and nods.

"I know, but the only way to get there is by flying. Don't worry, people over the ages made a dress cover so people wouldn't see. Here, come with me. I'll show you." He says, motioning me to come. I nod and walk after Alexander. We enter a room that was filled with what I guess are the bottom of the dress. There's pieces of cloth that have two holes underneath and ones that have nothing and it's just cloth. "I made one for every single dress I've made." Alexander walks up to a pile of them and grabs the one that looks identical in texture and style as my dress and gives it to me. "Want me to help you put it on?" Alexander suggest. I shake my head.

"I want to learn how, um, can you explain?" He nods.

"If it's a short dress then your dress bottom will have two holes to put your legs through. If your dress is long then it will be all covered at the bottom. To put it on if you have holes in them is easy. Just put your legs through and the clips on the circle you will have to clip on the dress. If the dress is long you might want help. To put that one on you will have to step on it and clip it. But you will have to levitate around the house to do so." I nod and do as he instructed. When I finished putting it on Alexander grabs my hand and we fly out and into the sky after locking the door. When we arrive at the castle I start to get nervous. I tighten my grip on Alexander's hand. He looks at me and lightly smiles at me to reassure me. "Its okay, don't worry." I nod as we land on the ground of the castle that was on a high mountain plateau.

"Um, do I ever take this off?" I ask Alexander.

"Ah, yes. There's a girls changing room to our left. You can take it off and twist it to make it two small connected circles. And in your dress there's a barely noticeable pocket to put it in." I nod and walk into the changing area. As soon as I enter all eyes where on me. I guess I smell human. The woman and girls smell the air and notice that I had a vampire smell too so they go back what there doing and ignore me. Guess I smell like a new blood. When I finished I spy Alexander surrounded by girls that look around my age and Alexander's. I walk up to them and stand next to Alexander. They look at me in disgust.

"Oh my gosh, it's a new blood. I can still smell human in her." One of the girls says to the rest who started laughing. "I think you're not supposed to be here, are you a new made or something?" Another girl tells the rest and me. They all giggle. One of the girls turns to Alexander. "Is she your made or something? We should go to Paris together some time, you know? And have fun." I get mad but do nothing because I'm pretty sure I'm weaker than them. Alexander looks at them seriously but at her specifically.

"Sorry, I can't." She looks at him annoyed.

"Why not? Your the most single guy I know that hasn't found his mate yet. You should have some fun before you find her, and not to mention your a prince." I tap the girls shoulder already extremely pissed off. She turns to me and looks at me in disgust.

"What do you want, new blood. Your not even pure like us. I can't even see you right now. Bug off and be elsewhere. You don't deserve to be with us pure bloods" Shes about to shove me with her hand when Alexander grabs her hand. He reaches out and grabs my waist and pulls me next to him.

"Do not try to grab my mate like that, and never speak to her that way ever again you lowlife of a vampire." Alexander tells her pissed of.

"Shes your mate?! But your a prince?! How can you have a mate like her?! She's not even pure?!" Alexander gives her a warning glare. She looks at me mad but backs off and leaves.

"Let's go, we have to meet your father before the ball begins." I turn to him and ask.

"A ball?! You never told me there was a ball?!" I tell him surprised but also mad at him.
